Mitch arrived to the pond Zaine had been talking about.
As he stood by the water, he could see the bright circle had begun to make it's way to the mountains, the sky began to shift in color.
He sighed, then sat down by the waterbank.
He looked at the magnificent play of nature.
"......It's.... been quite the day... right?" he said to the others.
"....I just hope it still can end the good ways...."
He turned his eyes to the mountains, and the land beyond them.
....I wonder if they are out there...somewhere...

Zaine looked down at his stomach. "Well, at least the bleeding has pretty muh stopped. Otherwise, I probably would have died by now." He then looked up. "How low was it of those egg eaters to attack me while I was distracted. They could have been spotted by someone else. Do they really want the stone so bad that they have to kill in order to get it?"

Cyrix and Longtail both nodded solemnly as Cyrix said "Yes..I'm afraid so. But we now must wait until your wounds are healed before we can continue." And Longtail smiled and said "YEah, and I'll protect you till my last breath!" He stood straighter and now had a confident smile on his face.

Mim nods, "We all will. That said who will work on what on Zaine, if we work together we can finish faster." Mim said. She makes sure the stuff is organized near Zaine then waits to see if others are going to work on certain areas before she continues.

Cyrix spoke up and said "I'll help."

Longtail nodded and stood next to his uncle and said "Yeah so will I." He then stepped over to Zaine and asked "Just tell me what to do." He smiled as he looked at Zaine knowing he was going to get a chance to help his friend.

Zaine looked around his body. "Well, my stomach seems covered at the moment. I guess if you want to tie something to it I'd be fine with it. I'm concerned about my front legs though. They're cut kind of bad, but they aren't bleeding that much. I know I can't walk on them for a little, but soon they'll heal."

Chomper came back with more leaves and vines. He took the blood soaked leaves off of Zaine's stomach and replaced them with new ones. "Maybe we should get some water on his wounds to clean tem just so they don't become infected or anything."

Zaine smiled at Chomper's deep concern for him. He thought about something, but he instead said it out loud. "I just realized something. Is this journey really to get the stone? Or is it to strengthen our bond with one another?" He looked up at the others. "For the stone, or friendship?"

Mim nods, "Good idea Chomper." she says looking at him then thinking over what Zaine said, "Sounds like at least one with a helper willing to learn on his stomach. One of each on each front leg and maybe another or later to look Zaine over for any bruises or other wounds that need attention." Mim said, hoping to involve most of the folks. She thought briefly to herself the more that help the faster this part of Zaine's treatment will be finished and he can start getting better and it'll give many of the people here something to do also instead of just worrying. She then thought over the last part of what Zaine said, "Maybe its a lot of both.

Littlefoot looked at the stuff, "It's a good thing there are more then one large leaf since it sounds like we'll need a lot of water to wash the wounds."

Petrie & Ducky seeing all the blood looked away, not able to take the sight. Petrie used it to look around from where he was to see if he could see any sharpteeth, or anyone else trying to sneak up on them.

(OOC: Neat to figure out a way to work in the title. )

IC: Longtail smiled and said "Chomper is right! We should clean the wounds. Uncle Cyrix if you wouldn't mind using the water please?" Cyrix nodded in response and said "Of course nephew." He stepped over to Zaine with a second leaf full of water, he then set it down and said "Well what's next Longtail?"

The young flyer was surprised by the question and he looked at his uncle for a moment as if he were crazy...but then smiled and said "Okay, uncle, we need to clean his legs, now that his belly is okay."

Cyrix walked over to Zaine and said "This may sting a bit...okay?" He then poured a little onto Zaines legs and waited for the longnecks response.

The longneck felt the sting, but he didn't move so much. "If I'm not able to withstand a little sting from water when I just survived an assassination attempt, then that's just sad." He laughed hoping it would further cheer the others up. He didn't like the overall sense of worry in the are, so he wanted to make the others as happy as possible.

"The sting should not be to bad. Just try to relax and let the rest of us do the work. You'll be back to your old self in no time, but with some scars that will likely attract attention from girl longnecks." Mim said attempting to lighten the atmosphere by adding in some attention.

Dante stood near the others, smirking.
"Yeah. A scar's a great way to attract the ladies... N-Not that I'd know anything about that."
He said, looking over at Hunter and blushing a little...

He asked, tilting his head to examine his handiwork...

Mim looked, pausing as she looked over Zaine's other leg nearby, making sure it was cleaned before she started working on it. she looked at what Virgil was doing and how he was doing it, She smiled to Virgil, "Yes, you are doing well." She said looking at him. "You are observant." She said.

Longtail and Cyrix were working on one of Zaines other legs and Cyrix was watching the others work and helping his nephew at the same time. Both stood back a moment and glanced at their handiwork and smiled "Well Zaine" said Cyrix "After another days rest you may be strong enough to stand on your own."

Longtail laughed as he heard what Dante said and replied "Oh, really you don't do you?"

Hunter saw Dante looking at her, and blushed as she said "Oh yeah...well you seem to know more than you tell."

At first, Zaine didn't have any idea what they were talking about. Then he saw Hunter and Dante blushig, and he laughed a little. "My my Dante, a pimp at heart." He laughed a little harder after his comment since he knew it was partially true.

Soar landed unnoticed back down near the group, silently berating herself for flying off in search of the egg-snatchers in the wrong direction. Leaning forward a little she began to listen in.

Longtail smirked and his response was almost instant.
"Oh please Dante...I'm untouchable! What's the worst you can do to me?"

Hunter smiled as she looked at Dante and gave him that 'you thinking what I'm thinking' kind of stare. She walked forward and said "Well Dante you gonna take that from him?"

Mim finished working on Zaine's leg then went to look at how the wound on his chest had been cared for and if it needed any work or was ok for the present.

Littlefoot, and Ducky watched the goings on, paying attention to both the work done on Zaine and some of the conversation, though only understanding parts of it. Petrie looked around in general, keeping watch for any sneaker uppers and only partially on the work on Zaine, but did listen in and watch part of the conversation.
