Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

By the way, one of my cousins plans to go to Johns Hopkins University, which is in Baltimore, Maryland. And I've always wanted to take Chinese.

I've heard of Johns Hopkins University. Chinese is an interesting language to learn, but it's also hard because of the pinyin tones (for pronounciation) and writing the characters. Overall, I'm having fun in my class mainly because not only am I learning a new language, but I'm also learning about the culture. There's a quote that says that for each language you learn you live another life.

I saw in another thread ya live or have lived in VA.  Whereabouts?  Sounds like northern VA but I'm not certain.  Sorry if I just spooked ya out.  Who knows?  We probably know each other :yes.  I also see ya like to be outdoors, eh?  I'm attending Old Dominion University in hopes to become a park ranger(interpreter, that is) :yes.  I love the outdoors.

I used to live in the Hampton Roads area (pretty close to the North Carolina border).

I love the outdoors too! :D

I actually have a friend from High school who is currently attending Old Dominion. It's a great University (I've been there before a couple of times on school trips), so I'm sure you'll have fun.  :D
