Spike, who was walking a distance behind Tri, suddenly looked at the new threehorn and cocks an eyebrow.
Spikefoot turns away from his family for a moment to rendevue with the other children. "Morning kids," he said with a cheerful tone, "Unfortunitely Donna, Goanna, and Guan can't play for most of today. But I'm sure my brother might let them off early."
"Well, ok then," Littlefoot replied. "But is it ok if we play in the clearing?"
"Why are you asking me for?" Spikefoot answers with a smile. "There's plenty of room here for all. But just remember that Guan and the girls are still training and they shouldn't be distracted from it."
"We won't distract them," Littlefoot responded, looking to the others. "Won't we?"
