Anyone fancy this anime and manga series? Not one of my biggest interessts, but I thought I post about it as it might catch someone elses!  
I did quite much some time ago, still like it, though not on the same basis.
Still cool though!  
For those who don't know the plot,

The year's 2015.
15 years have passed since what mankind calls "second impact" occured.
This catastrophe made the pols melt, and cause death and terror all over the world.
Mankind has now, in 2015, rebulit herself.
But now a new treat has arrived, the Angels.
The Angles are massive monsters that are only symbolize one thing: destruction and death to mankind.
To defend herself from the Angels, mankind developed Evangelion, which is described as mankinds most powerful warmachine ever.
It can only be manueverd by 14 year old children.
The children are mankinds last hope, now they march into battle.
This is their story...

The reason I like is that I think it's about mankind's struggle to survive in the future, and what cool inventions she has madeto do this.
There's more invention than EVA, like the N2 mine, a "freakedout nuclear bomb."
It has very cool scenes, and are funny sometimes!  :^.^:
I also like the story, which is MUCH more interessting that what I described here.

I've seen quite a bit of it when it was on Cartoon Network for a while.  I thought it was cool because of its action and art, but also confusing because of the 14-year olds' philosophies on life, reality, and mankind's place in the universe.

Some people says, that Evangelion is a classic of japanese animation - anime. As for me, it's quite blush. Once again, japanese animators can't think of something by themself, so they taking europian ideas(Bible and Christian God) and spoiling them with their "inventions" and cheap animation(The characters, who can't even blink, while talking - is a curse of many anime-movies(And, BTW they are talking with just three frames, and oftenly - with static background)).
