Just finished Fritz Lang's Metropolis. And you know, once you get past all the hype and media attention, and just sit down and watch it as a movie, it's a pretty good film. Granted, the acting is incredibly hammy, but being a silent film, it's to be expected. It does have its weird moments, but for the most part, it's just a really good film.
If you're willing to sit through a silent film that's more than 2 hours long, give it a watch!
