Kariya had heard the pair approaching and sprang up...then she noticed Ruby, and quickly relaxed, stepping aside to allow them clear access to Spiral should they need it.

Spiral had been thinking of ways to try and get back on his feet when the pair walked in. "...I think so...Don't think I'll be going anywhere fast for a bit, though..."
he said, eyeing the cut (more like gash; it ran straight across the upper part of his left leg). Checking the moss, he noticed that it was starting to get a bit bloodsoaked. So it didn't quite stop after all... he thought. The moss was just absorbing it...Should've guessed that. At least it's not bleeding that much... It still hurt a fair bit, but he did his best not to show it.

He then noticed something else: He'd never seen anything quite like Mim before. There had been no rainbow faces in the herd that he'd taken shelter in. This made him slightly afraid; he wasn't entirely sure what she'd do. He didn't like not knowing things.

Kariya noticed too...but she decided that she wouldn't say anything about it, on the off chance that she'd have some rather bad luck and say something wrong. She decided that she'd wait for Spiral to say something about it, knowing how unlikely that was.

Ruby noticed the worried look from Spiral. Don¥t worry Spiral. Mim is kind and helpful. She will heal your wound like a wonder. She is very good in it.

Ecco decided that it would be best to pass Ateo near the wall. So he began walking along the wall, very close and slow. Not trying to make any sounds.

Grandpa Longneck looked down and asked "Zaine good to see you. Do you know where Cyrix or Longtail are? They seem to be missing."

(OOC: I forgot where I left Cyrix...does anyone have any idea where I can bring him back?)

Vergil and Motochika approached Grandpa Longneck, seeming weakened by the aftereffects of the storm.
"Agreed. Has anyone seen my brother? I'm worried that this...darkness may have..changed him. I'm starting to worry..."
Virgil asked, sounding noticeably agitated...

"Virgil, your brother is in a cave that we came from. Just go that way." Argaya said, indicating where to go with her tail.

"Yeah. He was corrupted, but he is all right now. He could use your help." Vylor added.

Ateo flared his nostrils as he caught a new scent. He turned his head and spotted a dinosaur trying to sneak away. Ateo didn't say anything. He just stared at the dinosaur, waiting to see what he would do.

Ecco noticed that he has been watched by the dinosaur and slowly turned around. If Ateo would have wanted to hurt him, he would¥ve done that yet. But he didn¥t. The huge dinosaur just stood there watching at him. So he came a bit closer to Ateo but still kept distance. May... May I ask you some questions? Ecco asked.

Zaine sighed and glanced over at Blueberry. "Well, that's where Blueberry and I just came from. Cyrix is with the others looking to aid any injured, but..." A tear dropped before Zaine continued. I've been crying way too much, but I can't help it. Longtail means everything to me. "Longtail has become corrupted by power, and now some other evil dinosaur kidnapped him."

Blueberry went over to Zaine.
"Hey... it's alright. And no one's blaming anyone for it..."
He then turned to the others.
"This is what happened..."

"and that's what happened..." Blueberry said, finishing his story. Now, his eyes where filled with tears again.
"I stayed in the cave for a while, and I noticed something."
"I don't know what that dark liquid is, but I teel you all:
If you see it, don't touch it..." he said and rubbed his finger abit.
"And I don't know where everyone else is... I was hoping you would know, Zaine..." he said, wiping the tears away and took some deep breaths.

(OOC: I thought Cyrix and gone with Ruby and Mim to help with Spiral's injured leg.)

Mim put down the things she had been gathering on her way there. She set these things down beside Spiral so she would have both of her hands free and also so any others who knew how or wanted to could reach them and help.

She got some of the larger leaves some bits of moss. The bits of moss she put over the gash and put one of the larger leaves over the moss to try to slow or stop the bleeding and to get a closer look at the wounds to see what sort of work she'd need to do.

Zaine nodded. "Dante managed to get back here. He's a little worn out, but I think he'll be fine. Cyrix, Ruby, and Mim are looking for any other injured folk. Petrie is with Dante, and Ducky and Spike are with Mim. You guys are here and-" Then he realized it. We're missing someone. "Oh no! Ecco never came back!"

Diver looked as the others left. "What do you think we should do? Continue or remain in the valley?" She asked looking at her 2 friends.

"We could try to help those here, but we don't know what is really going on. " Rhyn said.

"We could go and ask Mr. Thicknose, he may have heard of something like this, he certainly may have." Diver said.

"I'm not sure," Mia said, "He is very smart and all, but he knows most of what he knows from what others have said and he's not left the Great Valley. I say we go and ask Blue-eye's great grandfather then we can ask Mr. Thicknose, between the 2 of them they may have some knowledge." Mia said sitting down to rest.

"Yes, and he is much older then Mr. Thicknose is, or at least looks it." Rhyn said remembering their encounters with them both.

"Yes, lets go and ask him, can't hurt and this cave will still let us out near to or within the area where his herd is so we'll be in little if any danger." Mia said.

The other 2 thought about it. Diver nodded first, "Yes, and they should be able to hear our whistles and we can tell how far away they are when they answer, let's go." She said.

Mia grasp Diver and put her on her back before she started to run forward, finding running on all fours like a 4 footer faster then running as a 2 footer. Rhyn flew behind them as they went into the cave and through it heading to the other side which let out into the mysterious beyond.

Ateo lowered himself down onto four legs to make himself appear less imposing. A small smile appeared on his long, black and white snout. "Well my name is Ateo. I'm a Farwalker, just recently arrived at this valley. And where I came from..." He lifted up his head and briefly looked up towards the sky as if recalling some distant memory. He sighed and closed his eyes. "I don't really remember much about the place. I was forced to leave at a very young age..."

He turned his attention back to Ecco. "But enough about that... I'm not really up to anything right now, at this very second." He calmly lowered his head and said, "And what about you?"

Cyrix had been following Mim and Ruby the whole time, but was still preoccupied by the news of his nephew. He only stopped when he looked down and noticed Mim had stopped as well and set the plants down to help Spiral. He cleared his throat to get Mim's attention and said "Well is there anything I can do to help?"

About me? Oh, well. I lost my parents because of a sharptooth attack. And after a long time of traveling, I finally found the Great Valley to stay. But anyway. Longtail is corruptet. And he was taken away by this,.... whatever. You look like you are strong and we would need everyone to bring Longtail back. So, if you won¥t mind, I guess the others and me would be very thankful for your help.

When Dante heard that Ecco was missing, he began to try to stagger towards the way he had just come, until he was stopped by his brother and Motochika.

"Just rest for now, Dante. Let us take care of this one, alright?"

Spiral still wasn't entirely sure about it, but he pushed the thought aside when he realized that Mim wasn't showing any signs of hostility towards him. He watched her work, seeing if he could pick up on anything he could possibly use later on. It did hurt a fair bit, but he did his best to hide what he felt. "Sorry, ma'am," he said to Mim, not wanting to use her name since she was an adult and he technically did not know her name anyways, since she hadn't told him directly.

Kariya was chasing a thought...but the thought didn't want to be caught, it seemed. She felt like she was missing something, but she couldn't for the life of her figure out what it was. Retrieving her stick from where it had landed after she'd dropped it, she leaned against a rock, out of the way of the others, still trying to discover what it was that felt like it was just out of reach of her mind.I'm forgetting something...but I don't know what I'm forgetting...I hate this... she thought.
