Mim turned to Cyrix, "you can help with this wound, it seems like it'll take more then just 1 person to properly treat it." She said pausing in her work on the wound to talk to Cyrix before she went back to working on it.

Diver & her group reached the end of the cave and paused just inside it to look around to be sure it looked safe. They stepped outside and Mia went up on 2 feet and let out a whistle to see if any of Blue-eye's herd were nearby. Rhyn & Diver whistled a bit after Mia did so they'd know all 3 of them were there if any were nearby to hear.

Cyrix nodded to Mim and said "Of course!" He then stepped over to Mim and helped by grabbing a bigger leaf and some moss and applying it to any wounds he could find. As he was doing this he smiled and said aloud without thinking "Things will get better...they always do."

Mim continued to work on the wounds that she could find that were near the first one she had started on using moss and a leaf to make sure the wound was covered and the bleeding hopefully was stopped or slowed till it stopped. As she worked she nodded.

"Most things seem to work out in the long run, so it is best to have a positive attitude." Mim said.

Cyrix nodded with a smile and said "Yes...you both are right. So let's continue to work." Cyrix then contiued to place moss on the wounds that were close enough for him to try and treat.

Motochika dropped from a nearby spire, hearing Cyrix and the other's voices.
Following them, he poked his head into the cave, asking if he could help...

Cyrix immedatiely nodded at Motochika to join them, and stepped aside so they could all help together. He then asked "Mim would you mind if I stand outside for a moment...I need to check on something."

"Worried about Longtail, Cyrix?"
Virgil was leaning against the side of the cave entrance, and he looked over as Cyrix stepped out.

Motochika, meanwhile, was tending to Spiral.
"What happened to him? Where are these wounds from?"
He asked Mim, looking at the wound he was treating...

Cyrix looked over at Virgil and said "More than you know...I feel so...helpless right now. I promised Longtail I'd always be there for him...to watch him and protect him...and then I make one slip up..one mistake...and this happens. Like being burned from the inside out...my heart aches."

He then turned and continued by saying "Even if we get Longtail back and change him agian....I don't think he'll ever forgive me...I let him down...I I just hope...he's okay right now....I don't know what I'd do if I lost him..."

Ruby watched Longtail wih a concerned look and was thinking about if she should walk over to him. But she decided, to better leave him alone now. Sometimes one just need time to be alone for a moment. Then she walked over to Mim again, put some of the plants and put them on the wounds of Spiral¥s cut.

Blueberry turned to Grandpa longneck.
"Grandpa, shouldn't we gather everyone to the meeting grounds? I think everyone could use some company right now..."
"I think that's a good idea. Right, grandpa?" Littlefoot agreed.

"Maybe someone in the valley knows what happened... "Blueberry said.
"Maybe Mr.Thicknose knows..."

Mim finished working on the wound area she was working on, having been concentrating to make sure she covered it right and that it wasn't worst then it looked. Once she had put the bit of moss and leaf in place she looked over at Motochika, "I"m not sure, but from the small bits of wood & bark I've taken out of some of the wounds it looks like a fallen tree or flying bits of wood & bark, at least for some of the injuries." She said.

Diver & her friends heard some whistles from Blue-eye's herd and quickly headed over to where the nearest one was. As they left the Cave they looked around and saw the state of things outside the Great Valley.

"Quite a mess." Mia said.

"I do not think anyone will be cleaning this up, certainly not." Diver said.

"Yes, they'll be to busy running or flying away from mean sharpteeth and fastbiters." Rhyn said.

They soon met some of Blue-eye's herd. A few adults and some teen age fastbiters, including one that had large muscles not to far off, who had a few females of around his age around him.

Virgil nodded.
"I know how you feel, Cyrix. I swore, after I let go of my grudge against him, that I wouldn't let Dante lose control and try to hurt anyone again. I've failed just as much as you."
He said, looking at the ground sadly...

Motochika studied the wound he was treating.
"Hmm...If that is the case, then I would have to guess that he was wounded by debris from that storm some time ago. The wounds look like they were caused by something moving at higher speed than just falling..."
He noted, resuming his medical aid to the wounded Spiral...

Mim nods as she continues working on the wounds, "With how fast and strong the wind was going, I'm not surprised someone got injured by some wood or a tree considering how fast the wind could be blowing them around, especially the small pieces."

By now, the bleeding had all but stopped. "...Didn't quite make it far enough away from a falling tree," Spiral said, somewhat uncomfortable with all the strangers in close proximity to him. He started thinking. Something seems to be troubling that other...rainbow face...I wonder what it could be... he thought.

Kariya did her best to stay out of everyone's way, but she didn't want to lose sight of her brother, primarily because she was a bit uncomfortable as well. She had no real problem with it, though, since she knew that they were there to help. This was different for them - they were used to not seeing anyone but each other for long periods of time. She felt she needed to say something..."My brother'll be OK, right?" she asked.

Grandpa Longneck nodded in agreement with his grandson and Blueberry as he said "YEs, that is a very wise decision. I would go ask you to find your friends, but for now I think it best if you two just followed me instead."

Cyrix put a hand on Virgils' back and replied "No...you didn't fail your brother. He's still here in the valley and safe with his friends. It was you that brought him around when he was tired and weak from the corruption. If anything you should feel proud of yourself...I on the other hand don't have that comfort."

Mim nods as she finishes up and goes back over her work to make sure she didn't miss any areas or areas that need extra attention, "He'll be as physically capable as he was when he has fully healed. These plants will help speed the healing and keep dirt out of the wounds as they helped to stop the bleeding." She said to Spiral's sister and to Spiral she nodded as well, "yes, a falling tree is dangerous as well as the bits of wood from it that a strong wind can send flying at a high speed.

One of the adults of the herd came forward, "ah, he'll be wanting to speak to you. He mentioned he was expecting you." He said.

"Blue-eye's Great Grandfather?" Mia asked.

"Of course, come this way." He said motioning them to walk with him, "When the thing happened and the land went, very badly shall we say he had us go closer to the mountains around Flatooth Valley and into some of the caves of this area some of us sleep in since the land got, well you can see for yourself & some of the flyers did a scouting around and see how the rest of the land was." He said as he walked along leading them towards the mountain and where the leader of the herd was.

When they got close Blue-eye ran up to them, "I missed you guys." He said as he hugged them, "I wish the visit was under better times."

They hugged him back, "Yes, we all do too, we certainly do." Diver said.

"Come on, my great Grandfather is waiting over this way." Blue-eye said. The adult fastbiter who had been leading them to this point let Blue-eye take over leading them farther.

Once they got to where his grandfather was they saw his mate hugging him and they nuzzled a bit, "I'll go and get out visitor shall I?" She said as she stood up.

"Yes," Blue-eye's grandfather said, "I believe he'll want to be in on this conversation." He said from where he was sitting. His mate nodded and walked off to get their visitor and ask him to come there.

"Greetings." Mia said speaking for the 3 of them.

"Before I start I'll wait till my friend comes here. He and I were talking about some things concerning this recent incident that has happened and what it may mean." He said.

"Who is your friend?" Diver asked curious.

"A very old flattooth flyer I've known for a long time, older then even myself, hehe, if you can believe that." He said.

Blueberry suddenly got to think about what Zaine said.
"Ecco went off on his own... I'm gonna go look for him." Blueberry said statedly. "No one should be wandering alone now." he said and looked around over the valley. He then turned to Zaine;
"Zaine, did you see where he went, last time you saw him?" he asked.

"You're right, Blueberry." Littlefoot said.
"So I'm going with you!" he said, and looked at his grandpa. "Will you let me?"

"I think it would be better if we had an adult with us..." Blueberry said, thinking.
"But Granpa's to big to enter the caves. No offense, Grandpa!" Blueberry looked at Grandpa Longneck with an unsure smile.

Grandpa longneck sighed and replied "Alright Littlefoot you and Blueberry can go search for your friends, but please be careful. If you need help...just call for me okay Littlefoot?"
