The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

LBT in Mario Party

After reading LBT in Smash Bros, this gave me an idea. What if there was a Land Before Time game in the format of Mario Party? Think of it, we could have 8 characters (The gang of 7 and then one of the many guest characters), and different parts of the Great Valley/Mysterious Beyond as boards. The mini games could include Bowling (from LBT 7) Rolling Rocks (From LBT 2) Log Running (from TV series episode 5) or even Scream Contest, as in tap a button repeatedly to build up energy for 30 seconds, and then hear the crowd roar (From TV series episode 1). This is just an idea that I thought would be really cool.

The Scream contest is an idea I'm putting in my abridged series script later on, but I thouhgt "What game would require building up energy by repeatedly pushing a button?" I had to go with Scream Contest, although Chomper would probably win hands down.

So, by 'in the format', that would mean that movement would be made using dices, right? And items in-during board play would also have to exist.

Either ways, its a really good idea.  :yes

If you want help with em creation or other prts of planning, I'm in to help.

I've always wanted to make a Mario Party kind of game; I love em! :D
I just don't think it would work well online because of lag issues in such fast-paced games.  It's the kind of game that would not be well-suited to being single-player either, so I'm torn on the idea.  I love it but I just worry about how playable it would be, since I can't really program for consoles and playing online would be an issue for me with my limited networking programming ability.
