The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Or as you probably know it: The hunchback of Notre Dame.

I watched the whole play on Youtube...and I gotta say...I LOVE it! i watched the original french version specifically. It is just soo beautiful! The music, the dancing, the costumes, the stories. And it's very true to the story.

Forget everything disney taught you!

Get entranced by this musical, and tell me what you think.

Also, I hope this fits in this forum. I didn't know where else to put it.

From what I understand, Victor Hugo's tale was quite different than the Disney version, especially when Quasimodo commits suicide by throwing himself off the cathedral.  Everyone knows Disney would NEVER put such an ending in any of their films as it would scare the little ones <_<.

I would love to read the book one day, for I love the disney version of this story. It was well done!

And I have watched a few scenes of the musical, that too is very well done. The only thing I didn't care for about this musical was the microphone headsets the actors had on. I mean I understand why they would, since it's a big audience and big theater, but I think it would have that more classic "theater" feel if they used their big and loud voices in their diaphragms. Their voices would be A LOT more powerful that way.
