I'm sorry this happened to you.

This might annoy you, but do remember, "When a door closes, another one opens". So while in this dark hour you maybe "down the hill" as you say, but there is going to be an opputunity out there. I know there will be. :yes

Besides, I can see you're a writer, while I never actually have seen your work, you did make that topic "So you want to be a writer?".

Don't give up.  :)

writing is my escape for the moment. my current project is a children novel trilogy which has been in the works since March of this year.

Since my purchase of that typewriter I've been busy working on the second draft for part one of the first book. roughly 150 pages long. not spaced.

Since the loss of my job and the ill feeling of money depression, I've decided to close myself in my room (locked and all) (and while I'm not job hunting) doing nothing but writing. I will also be cutting my internet use here at home during this period of just a few weeks, updating you all two days a week on a library computer.

This will also mean abandonment on my webcomic work. Which I may try again someday when life is all swell and fine.

As for the RP section. I keep on promising to bring it back with my posts. But then I also keep on failing. I ask you all, my friends from the RP section to have faith... I do have plans for everything still. its just with the loss of a job and the loss of income, things seem a bit blurry and distant.

I'm sorry it has to be like this. but if your a faithful person. Pray for me. I will appreciate it.

:cry  :( It just doesn't seem fair to me. You are a brilliant writer, a talented artist, and an all around great person, so I can't understand why this roller coaster called life has yet to hit the incline. I may not know exactly what you're going through, but it just upsets me to see such a good fellow like you going through this again and again.

I will prey for you, and keep your well being in my thoughts...heres' to you Aves! ;)

Aw, man!  That sucks -_-.  Sorry that happened to ya, but you'll find a way back into employment.  Perhaps a job with better wages :yes.  You're in my thoughts and prayers, too.  Good luck.

Life happens for a reason.  It was just time for you to stop working at the fabric store (for me that day couldn't come soon enough).  Perhaps you were meant to quit it because there's something a million times better waiting just around the corner for you.

I'm very sorry to hear this. Is there a reason why you lost the job?
You are young, with significant talents, and most importantly for all I know you do have the WILL to get of the road again and do something for it. All these make it likely that you will get another job and sometimes such changes of jobs are changes for the better. You weren't too fond of the last job, were you?
I don't pray on regular basis, but pray I do and I will think of you next time I do.

Good luck on the writing and the search for another job when the time comes.  There's always jobs out there.  You'll find something.

No, I wasn't very fond of the job to be honest. They were expecting me to do every little thing. For example, only the men were allowed to carry the rolls of fabric, women were not allowed. I was one of the only two men there. =P

They fired me because I didn't seem cut out for the job. Because I was having to do so many things all at once, I kept forgetting things. That and one of the old ladies (or should I say, a sneaky old witch?) kept on taddling on every little quirk or mistake I made (I leaned on the table on occasions only just for a few seconds to relieve my feet of some pressure, this was apparently bad.) and they don't like employees to pat the fabric (which I was doing to kind of even out the fabric.) these things I didn't know right up to the moment he told me the job was off.

When I got the pink slip, it did kind of hurt my feelings. because I really thought I was doing a good job. helping the customers as much as humanly posible and just straightening things as I went. I did not know I was doing a bad job.

*sighs* ah well

Sounds like an unfriendly place overall.  You'll find a job soon.  Try to be positive and put a positive spin on it.  If nothing else you'll feel better and by feeling better be more confident and that can have positive effects that may not be apparant.

I am keeping a possitive attitude about it. I was only depressed about it the day I got the boot. My writting was and still is my escape from the depression over money. I may be a poor soul. I may be what they call a 'starving artist' but literally speaking I'm a 'starving everything' ! =P writter, cartoonist, illustrator and all that rolled into one starving human being.

I'm sure I'll find my way out of the paper bag, even if it means jhitch hiking to Florida in hopes to work for Disney.
