Talk like a Pirate Day! Sept. 19

Hey all!

As a few of you may know, Sept. 19th is international "Talk like a Pirate day!" as seen here:

As a rather savvy pirate fan (

) I couldn't help but see if we can get this going here on the GoF for a day!

So let's see what ye scurvy dogs got! Get some pirate talk posts going around here for a day and have some fun!
I've got a little extra incentive: Anyone I see Talking like a Pirate will receive a bit of treasure at the end of it all! B)

Just when I'm going to be busy like.. the whole day. Work, school, party.. ahh.. might skip party, me way too tired.

Anyway, nice idea. I join if possible

well, i guess, i could manage to talk like a pirate, but how does it work to write like one?

maybe saying "Arrr" every time you speak?

anyway i will try to do.

something else came into my mind. pirates aren't known for being polite, as far as i know. at KarateParty.org i read a lot of insults...how do we handle that?

Tim I didn't catch this the first time through. I don't approve of this. This just makes a lot of work for us to award "unofficial" holidays. I mean if you want to do this, I guess its fine but I don't want this to be the norm around here because there are so many "unofficial" holidays out there.
