"Awesome," said Shelton. He brought up the virtual map. "James you still got the map I gave you? Next, I vote we move on to the--"

"NOW!" yelled Kozlov, ripping the rope bindings off his arms. Shelton swiveled around, but had barely gotten out of his chair when Kozlov hit him with a fully-charged uppercut. Shelton pinwheeled into the far wall and crumpled to the ground, knocked out.

Werner pulled out his side pistol and let loose. Three shots buried themselves into Kozlov's side before it was wrenched out of his hand. Kozlov fired a shot at Kerzach, blowing up the monitor near him. Kerzach fell backwards through a maze of sparks.

With one claw, Kozlov freed Montgomery and Hicks, taking care to keep the ropes long.

"Tie up those two," he ordered, referring to Karzach and Werner. He went over and sat down in Shelton's chair. "Let's give Zanasiu a little Congratulations gift."

(OOC: I hope you two don't mind I borrowed your characters for a second. I made sure not to hurt them or anything. And the reason for incapacitating Shelton: I will be gone from this board indefinitely, so I took my character out of the mix. If you want him back, just have him wake up. I don't mind. See you all! Keep up this great RP!

(OCC: I don't mind) Hans heard the commontion on the raido and shouted "What's going on up,' there before fireing his AK until it jammed.

Dr. Kerzach reached for his switchblade as he tried to stand up. He pulled it out and brandished it as he staggered to his feet.

He tried to stab Kozlov but Montgomery and Hicks tackled him from behind and wrenched the knife away from him. They soon pinned him to the ground and tied him up.

Kozlov, clutching his side, looked at Werner. "It takes a lot more than that to take a Brown Bear down!" He then tried to tackle Werner.

Werner dodged Kozlovs attack and pulled a knife and threw it at Hicks.

"I'll feel better when this is over..." Snow replied.

Vic ducked under as he checked his magazine. "You know," he thought outloud. "I think we may be putting a dent in their numbers now. It took them this long to find us out."

Dr. Joe fired several more rounds before taking cover. "OR we're just playing with a rogue group of trigger-happy terrorists..."

Just then, two laser sights bounced off the wall and rested on Koslov's head. "You're right," a dark voice replied. "But that's no problem for me..."

The hitman, with silenced automatic handguns in each hand, lets loose a volley of muffled gunfire...

(OOC: No one minds if the terrorist kills someone before being shot himself? He's up for death in the control room.)

Hans switch to the shotgun and fired a barrel at two terrorists wounding both of them in the legs.

Kozlov fell as the bullets struck him.

Montgomery and Hicks glared at the gunman. "You're next!" the gunman snarled.

Unknown to the gunman, the channels were still open allowing James and his group to hear everything.

James shot and killed the final terrorist when the radio came on. He heard muffled gunfire through the radio.

"We need to move to the control room!" James shouted.

"I thought we have to go to the sublevels?" Zachary said.

"Shelton is under attack!"

James then radioed Siberys. "Siberys, forget about the sublevels for now! Shelton is under attack."

"What about me?" O'Neill asked.

James glared at him. "Stay here! We don't trust you enough"

James, Zachary and the Dhole began to leave the cafeteria.

Siberys nodded and he left the entrance to the sublevels and headed to Shelton's control room.

Hans stood in in front of O'Neill watching his every move with his shotgun slung over his left shoulder.

The hitman fired at the armed scientist with one and fired a sweep of bullets across the computers with the other as he continued the attack...

Vic followed James to the control room, while Dr. Joe examined her ammunition.

Snow got up next to Neku as the battle ended.

Suddenly, the hooded figure struck, his sword piercing the other assassin's chest.
"Rest easy. You've fulfilled your duty. Now die quietly."
He said, eyes gleaming under his hood...

Kagetora wheeled about, facing the figure.
"You...I realize that voice...Murakami!"
He said, drawing his swords and facing the figure...

Hawkeye ducked next to Dr. Joe.
"I hope that's not the case. If it is, we have problems. They seem too organized to be a random group."
He said, leaning out to fire another burst of rounds at his foes...

Neku tried to smile at Snow.
"Yeah...I agree. But right now, I guess we're stuck in this hell. The only thing we can be glad for is that we...have each other."
He said, patting her shoulder gently...

James, Zachary and the Dhole all quickly readied their weapons. Siberys, not having a gun, telekinetically ripped a piece of rebar from a rubble pile. He caught the rebar and brandished it.

James looked at Murakami then Kagetora. "Kagetora, you know this man? Why's he here?" He kept his shotgun at the ready.

Montgomery and Hicks were crouched behind some wrecked computers. Dr. Kerzach was between them. Montgomery had the confiscated switchblade held to Dr. Kerzach's throat.

Kozlov's bullet riddled body was near the unconscious Shelton.

The hitman's lifeless body dropped to his knees before falling forward feet away from where Shelton and Koslov lay on the glass-covered floor.

Vic also readied his weapon as the group encountered the sword-wielding terrorist in the control room. He caught a glimpse of Dr. Kerzach and the remaining Dragonstorm scientists nearby behind cover, and then to Shelton on the floor. "Zach, James, Kagetora," he whispered, "Shelton's still alive, but he won't be for long if this nut starts swinging away. If someone can distract him, I'll grab him and get him out."

"Are you serious?!" Dr. Joe argued. "You're actually going to question him?! He tried to have us killed off! We can't trust him."

Zachary looked icily at the new ninja. "So what brings you here? Are you after the scientists or did you just come here to cause trouble?" He readied his rifle. The Iguana guard and the Dhole aimed their weapons at Murakami.

The Dhole glared at Murakami and bared her teeth. "Drop your weapon and step away from the scientists." she commanded, keeping her rifle trained on Murakami.

"Do I look like I want him tortured?!" Dr. Joe nearly screamed that time. Snow moved in to hold her back from Hans.

Vic also has his gun on the swordsman, but he started to move around the side to get himself some room to get to Shelton...

"Oh, the only reason I'm here is to kill one person. That's you, Kagetora. A certain someone wants you dead very badly..."
He chuckled, eyes glinting red under his hood...

Kagetora simply faced him, swords held ready...

Neku turned to see Dr. Joe lunge, and quickly created temporary Kinetic restraints around her arms and legs.

Hawkeye placed a hand on her shoulder, looking her in the eyes.
"Dr. Joe. I can understand your anger, but that isn't justification to fly off the handle like this. We have to keep our heads if we want to survive here..."
He said, gently...

James kept his weapon on Murakami. "So who would that 'someone' be? Is it the same people who invaded Pelvanida, killed the scientists and experiments?!" he demanded.

The Dhole kept her rifle on Murakami. "Fight with Kagetora, fight with all of us!"

Zachary nodded and bought his rifle to bear.

Dr. Joe looked at the others until she stopped at Snow, who looked back with a worried look. The scientist finally calmed down and turned to Neku. "Let me go, please..."

Vic inched his way to the side of the confrontation, now in view of the scientists hiding behind the pile of rubble, but he keeps his gun trained on the terrorist assassin. This is not one to keep his eyes off of...

"Let's try and stay on the same side here," said the Cobalt soldier nervously, pistol still held with both hands and pointed at O'Neill. "Otherwise we'd be playing right into their hands..."
