Cayso smiled at Longtail - "That's more like it, nice to have you back into action Longtail." - He then stood up and went where is brother is - "is everything alright?" - the big brother asked with curiosity, to that, Racnar replied - "The air here... something is different about this island... maybe is just a sensation I have." - the smaller kid gave a smile - "... is Lontail better now?" - "yes, he is." - Cayso replied.

"No, I feel slightly different too," Chomper commented. "Maybe it's the trees or plants or something," Tyra suggested. Kai knew there was sometinh odd pabout this place, but he just couldn't figure it out.

Chompers parents lifted their heads and sniffed the air as well.
Mama sharptooth then said, "This island is very strange indeed. I wonder what is causing this?"

Longtail closed his eyes and took another deep breath, but when he opened his eyes this time, both his eyes were as blue as the sky above their heads. He then slowly nudged Pearl back so he could stand on his own, and said:
"No..it's not the air. It's....them. I can feel it."

Both Pearl and Gem were curious as to who Longtail was talking about but neither of them asked, wondering what Longtail would do next.

But Dante asked for them "Who, or what are you talking about Longtail?"

"I am not sure, but this really doesn't feel right." - Racnar still has a very serious look and Cayso frowned and placed a hand over his brother's shoulder - "Who are the ones coming Longtail?"

When Longtail spoke, his voice sounded softer and more melodic, almost if he were trying to sing. "They aren't coming to us....we are going to them...please...everyone...follow me."

As Longtail began to walk away Pearl shuddered as if she were cold and then flapped her wings trying to keep up. Gem was right behind Pearl watching over Longtail from the air as he walked.

Dante sighed.
"Wait up for us!" he commented as he chased after Pearl and Longtail

Chompers parents both looked at each other.
"Where is he even going?!" asked P.Sharptooth

"I have no idea, but I intent to find out." - Cayso replied, he grabbed Racnar's hand and they both began walking following Longtail.

"I wonder wht's going on Chomper?" Rita aske. "I dunno, but we should stay with everybody," Chomper replied. Tyr and Kai also followed. " Is he hypnotized or something?" Kai thought, concerned about Longtail's strange actions

Longtail continued to walk heading deeper into the island until a large mountain could be seen. Longtail stopped walking for a moment and looked at the mountain and suddenly his eyes narrowed as if he'd found something terrible.

Pearl stopped flying, and landed next to Longtail with a concerned look on her face. "Longtail...are you okay? Please..talk to us. P-please!"

Gem landed next and sighed as she could hear the concern in her daughters voice.

Dante slowed to a stop.
"I think Longtail's found something."

Chompers folks stepped up next and looked up at the mountain peak. "It does look rather steep, I do hope we don't have to climb it.' said P. Sharptooth

"No...we don't climb on it....we walk into it." said Longtail at a whisper.

"What do you mean, through a tunnel or something?" Rita asked. Kai and the rest found Longtail's comment strange

Longtail gave a dark grin and said, "Just watch!"
He then stepped forward until he was mere inches from the rock face. He sniffed the air for a moment and continued to smile. He placed a single claw onto the mountain and said in sharptooth, "It...begins!"

Dante was worried for Longtail, but figured his friend knew more about what was going on than he did. But Longtails last comment was enough to get Dante's attention.
"Wait...what do you mean? What's beginning?"

Chopmers parents were confused as well, but decided to wait and see what happens.

Peal and Gem both continued to watch Longtail hoping that nothing bad would happen.

Diamond flew over to his wife and daughter, wanting to make sure they'd be ok. Veli didn't know what to think of Longtail's comment. "Well, I guess, here we go.." he sighed

"This is getting more strange than I hoped this would be." - Racnar commented as he frowned and now thought - "That last thing Longtail said, it looked like there was someone else."

"Well, I really hope nothing bad will happen, but this is strange indeed, always strange when you look for answers." - Cayso replied, trying to remaining close to Longtail.

As Longtail conintued to press his claw to the mountain a wonderous thing happened. The rocks around him and several on the floor began to shrink in size until a tunnel could be seen leading inside the mountain. "This is it. No turning back now...follow me, this will be...fun."

Pearl was awestruck and just stared at the new opening that seemed to just appear right in front of them.
"Mom...Dad....how is this possible?" she asked with a hint of fear clouding her voice.

Gem however was at a loss for words at her daughters statemetnt. She simply shook her head in confusion and didn't answer.

Dante had to admit...he knew Longtail could do a lot of neat things, but that trick was really impessive. "Wow....can you do that again?!"

"That was unbelieveable Longtail!" Chomper smiled. "Wicked..." muttered Tyra. Kai looked at the tunnel the flyer had just created. "I'm sure the answers we came here looking for....are inside, correct?" he asked

Longtail without a word stepped inside the cave and dissapeared into the darkness.

Pearl was shocked into action.
"Longtail wait for me!" she cried as she flapped her wings and willingly flew after Longtail preying nothing was wrong.

Gem sighed and looked to Daimond and asked, "Our daugher seems to care deeply for him. Do you think fate has set them up for a wlid adventrue to put them closer together?"

Dante not one to be left out of the action stepped forward and ran in after Pearl and Longtail.

Chompers folks laughed as htey notcied how the hole opened and said, "We will stand guard just in case. The rest of you should go."

"Ok, see you later mom and dad," Chomper waved, holding Rita's hand and proceeding inside.

Veli flew in next, followed by Tyra. "Come on Kai," she said. "I'm coming," Kai replied wuickly. Kai didn't have a bad feeling about this, just a weird one. He didn't know what to think.

"Well, if fate exists maybe," Diamond replied

Redclaw came up and noticed the soze of the hole, and realized he wouldn't be able to fit. "I'll stand guard ith you two," he said to Mama and Papa Sharptooth. "No one could take the three of us down," he said, in his slightly bragging self

Last but not least, the two Fast-bitters brothers entered the tunnel made up by Longtail. - "This is getting way to weird...." - Racnar replied making a sly grin.
"Weird yes, and interesting." - Cayso said. Both kids kept on running following the others.

Longtail naturally reached the bottom first and took a quick look around and waited for the others to show.

Pearl of course wasn't too far behind, nor was Dante as the two came to a stop directly behind Longtail after a few moments. They were awe struck by the size and look of this cave...clearly it wasn't a normal cave by any standards.

"Longtail...where are we?!" asked Pearl, with a blush creeping up on her face, but fear tinting her voice.

Chompers folks smiled at Red Claws optimism.

"you are likely right. But I do hope we don't have to test that theory."

Gem sighed.
"One of us should be at the nest watching the other hatchlings...I'll go, you stay and watch over Pearl okay? she said as she placed her claw on his shoulder.
