Dante smiled.
"Well, maybe some do, but we fastbiters aren't quite big enough to take down anything on our own, so we form herds. Usually, they're based on family lines. So, after all, it all comes down to blood."
He said, sadly, a fain grin lingering on his face...

Kai nodded at Tyra.
"Same here. I've been an orphan for a long time. It sorta...sucks huh?"
He said, kissing her again...

"Yeah, but I'm better now," Tyra smiled back. "Kai, you, Chomper, Longtail, Cayso, Racnar, Chomper's folks, Veli, Pearl, Redclaw and Rita, you guys are the greatest. You too Dante," she said, not forgetting the recent addition to their group.

"We just want to do what's best for the ones we care." - Cayso replied to Tyra.

Racnar nodded to what Cayso said and smiled back to Tyra. - "It makes me happy to see you are feeling this good." - He kept on smiling while turning his face to visually explore the cave again - "This place is indeed special...." - he then sat down, and gave deep breathes as he used his right hand to make pressure on his chest. Cayso went and sat besides his brother - "please, try to relax, it will pass soon."

Kai smiled at Tyra.
"Thanks for the compliment...beautiful."
He said, leaning in to kiss her fully on the lips...

Dante just smiled.
"I'm just glad I could be of some help to you guys. 'Specially you, Longtail."
He then turned to look at Racnar.
"You're ill, aren't you? Any way I can help?"
He asked, walking over and kneeling down by Racnar's side.

"Let me take a look..."
Arius said, mustering the will to form into an image of himself, joining Dante...

"You're welcome Kai," Tyra smiled back, leaning in also and the two sharpteeth kissed directly on the lips. "But I think something's wrong with Racnar," she said after the kiss.

Chomper came up to Arius and Dante. "yeah, is there something wrong buddy?" he asked concerned for his friend.

Cayso has his arm around his brother's shoulders and he whispered to him - "I think it is time to tell them." - Cayso turned around to see Chomper, Dante and the others, with a serious look - "Yes, my brother has an illness since he hatched, making him to suffer in this way and far worse. I am sorry I didn't tell any of you before, but that may have been the only way for him to have a normal life. And the leaves he has tied around his arms are the only thing so far that can help him."

Racnar managed to grab one of the leaves that are tied around one of his arms and chewed it, with a bit of disgust. His eyes shows some frustration.

Kai nodded.
"What's up, Racnar?"
He asked concerned...

Dante looked at him.
"Can I take a closer look? I have a knack for trying to cure people. May I?"
He asked, looking closely at Racnar for a moment, then to Cayso.

Arius nodded.
"I'd trust him. This boy has more skill at healing than anyone else I've seen. If anyone can help your brother, it's Dante."
He said, pride in his voice...

Longtail had heard everything that was being said, but he didn't have the heart to comment. Truth be told, at this moment, in this cave, he was the happiest flyer in the world. His beak held a wide grin, while his eyes shined with newly formed tears of joy. He was now standing up, and he stammered out:
"M-mom...I-I've missed you...so very much."

Soul sighed.
"I know my son...but you know I've been watching over you, and I've seen the good things you've done for your friends and yourself." Through the fog a figure could be seen, only slighty at first, but after several seconds Soul was completely visible to everyone, and to show her respect she bowed.

Longtail on the other wing didn't waist time with formalities and literally ran into his mother embracing her in a hug, and crying in joy.

Pearl watched with a happy sigh. This moments were rare, even rarer still was to share them with your friends. "I'm so happy for you Longtail." said Pearl as she turned to face the others. She then asked Arius a question.
"If Dante's so good, can he heal a broken heart?"

Cayso heard what Dante said and he finally agreed when he heard the spirit of Arius' comment. "I won't leave your side" - Cayso said, releasing his brother's shoulders but remaining knelt besides him, also watching Longtail and his mother as they embraced.

Racnar's eyes were focused on Arius, even having a great deal of pain right now did not stop him to get amazed by what he was seeing. Longtail's moment of joy was also good for the kid to try to forget what was happening to him, maybe making things easier for Dante.

"You're gonna be OK," Chomper tried to assure Racnar, though he was personally unsure, as he was just finding out about this disease for the first time.

Rita was looking to see if any other spirits had show up, and she noticed one of a big rex start to take shape...

Arius looked over at Pearl, a small, sad smile on his face.
"I'm afraid that even Dante isn't that skilled, young Pearl. But don't worry. You'll find someone that will heal your heart in time. Everyone does. It's just a matter of patience."
He said, eyes understanding...

Dante leaned in close to Racnar's chest, eyes shut lightly. He listened for a moment, then his eyes snapped open, and he grinned.
"Right. I think I've figured out what's wrong with him. His heart's not beating normally. I think I can make something that'll make the problem go mostly away. I'll need some plants, plus a couple of the leaves around his arm. I should be able to make something that'll help."
He said, grinning confidently, then stood up to leave the cave...

Kai walked over to Racnar, smiling at him.
"You feeling okay?"
He asked, eyes gentle...

Pearl nodded at Arius' words. She then sighed, and looked back over at Longtail while blushing, she began to realize something about herself, in the short time she'd known him, Pearl admitted to herself, she liked him alot.

Longtail broke the hug with Soul, as he could see another shape taking form, and he was surprised, but didn't speak wondering if his suspicions was correct.

The next form to take shape came into view and looked down at Rita first, and then at everyone else gathered and smiled as he said:
"Hello little ones. My name is Sharptooth. May I ask what you are all doing here? Or how you got here to begin with?"

"Hello," Chomper smiled towards the big rex. "I'm Chomper, those are Longtail, Cayso, Racnar, Rita, Tyra, Veli, Kai, Dante, and Pearl."

Veli looked impressed. He had never seen a sharptooth this big.

"We came here to find out about Longtail's past, but I think he can explain how we got here." Tyra said

"I'll be... fine, Kai,... thanks." - Racnar replied and smiled too as he tried to relax, he then noticed the huge Sharptooth's form to take shape, looking at him in awe.

"He is just majestic." - Cayso said as he saw Sharpttoh's form to take shape and as he listened to him.

Sharptooth looked down to Longtail as Chomper had pointed out and frowned. "Wait...did you say his name was Longtail, as in the last of the Guaridans...I thought he was dead!"

Soul sighed.
"No Sharptooth, my son is alive, and he was going to come here to see me, I'm just glad he brought friends with him. Its nice to see others are willing to accept him for who he is."

Sharptooth nodded his head and then smiled as he faced Cayso.
"Thank you. I do try to keep my appearance as unique as possible."

Longtail looked worried as he asked, "Mom...am I the last Guardian? I hoped there were more? What about you Arius, do you know of any other Guardians that are alive?"

Cayso smiled at Sharptooth's comment, as the kid thinks is true, he then looked at Longtail and his mother Soul and said - "We all have our heritage, it help us know who we are. And I guess I can say that we will not change what we think about Longtail after knowing he is a Guardian."

Racnar did his best to reply too, to Longtail - "I ... do hope you'll not be alone as a ... living Guardian.... and if you are... you still have all of us, you will not be alone."

Kai nodded.
"Yeah. That does make you sound super cool. You're lucky!"
He said smiling.

Arius looked up at him, then spoke in a serious voice.
"You don't know your parents, do you, Kai? Because I see that you have the aura of a guardian about you, as well as Longtail does. I think you and Dante are of the guardians, too..."
He said, looking intently at Kai's features...

Soul looked over at Arius and asked, "I knew Dante was a living Guardian, but Kai too...well...that would explain a few things."

Longtail sighed and then smiled.
"Really...you guys think me being a Guardian is cool. Cause I'd always treated it as a burden...something to fear...but I never knew why."

Soul then looked over at Pearl and smiled.
"Well this is interesting." She then looked over to Diamond. "Did you know your youngest daughter here is a Guardian as well Diamond?"
