Happy 5th Birthday GOF! Lets see now,i found this site through the fanfiction.net forums. After hearing about it, i tried looking it up on google, took me about an hour to finally find it. Had to type in "The gang of five LBT Message Board", but it was still in the 5th or 6th page. i joined the GOF on April 10th 2007, right before my birthday. About a week or two later, Austin joined and i got to experience the flood of topics he created (i logged on one day and saw like 50 new topics, i was like :blink:

. Another good memory was the first day the LBT Jeopardy was created, ah man, that was chaotic, 8 people that kept refreshing the page to answer the next question. When it was posted, you would post the answer only to realize that 4 other people already answered the question. Also, pretty much all the lbt song projects that ive done have been pretty memorable, i missed the most recent one (due to my absents during the past 3 months), but im gonna try and be a bit more active now (at least for awhile

).

Why would we need to discuss what we're going to do when its done? :huh: Better to save confusion and make one topic for GOF memories.

I joined in this forum one year ago, in the summer holidays. I was kinda surprised what for a kind environment this forum has. Actually I strumbled over this side about the german forum from Malte. It was kinda sad for me to hear that the german land before time forum isn¥t that activ. But it wasn¥t a big deal after I heard about the english LBT side which has much more activity and nice people in it. So, that¥s all about it I think. I took part in some very enjoyable projects and RPGs, and I am thankful for that. So I just can say: Go on with that owners of the GOF. You are doing an excellent job.

Hard to believe I haven't responded to this. Anyway, my first LBt interaction as at the Network54 site, back in 2002, ot thereabouts. After meeting Adam and malte, I eventually joined Welcome To The Great Valley in 2004, and eventually took over the running of the sitefrom Adam later that year. There i met, Threehorm, And Kenji, both of whom became regular posters, in fact beside s Malte, were the ONLY regular posters at WTTGV. Adam created the Gang Of Five in its current format in September 2004, but it wasn't until late November that I joined. I left the forum to die and moved here fulltime. The worst moment in the history of TGOF might be the March 2 2005 attack by spammers. at the time, none of the posters present were admins, and the admins at the time were absent. So we had to endure several hours of inaropriate comments in our rps and basically whatever we posted was hacked by spammers. not fun.. not fun at all. It was shortly after that that I was appointed as an admin, which was nice for many reasons. Firstly I would be able to kick out any future spammers. Luckily there has not been a repeat attack on the board like the 3-2-05 attack, and there never will be, because we now have more than enough admins to stop such an attack in its tracks. Secondly I enjoyed the responsibilites of the position. Anyway, I have become relatively well-known among the older members here, as a 'history buff' and all-around postholic

I also love roleplaying, Threehorn has been a longtime collaborator, and more recently Aves has greatly revived my interest in the roleplay with his "insane Cafe" Stories (Of which there will be a 3rd

)and all-around goofiness. I personally like to lend a hand to people who may have difficulties ,with interacting with people, or learning how to roleplay, or just need someone to talk to, I'm there. A Belated Congrats to the GOF, on 5 years, number 10 should be a blast!

What the?! I could've sworn I posted here! Oh, well...

There once was a twenty-one year-old quirkster who had never been on an online forum before. A faithful fanfic reader at Fanfiction.net, she came across the name "Gang of Five," mentioned by dalandb4time aka Lain_EX. Curious as to what that was, she searched it only to find references to Mafia gangs. Just then, the lightbulb clicked on and she typed in "Land Before Time forum" and, long behold, discovered the forum. Fear of rejection would discourage her from becoming a member until she finally grew a pair and joined on February 19, 2008. When the time came to choose a screen name, she wanted to go by Cera but a certain banned member had already stolen that one, so she decided she wanted a screen name which represented part of who she is. It was then that the name Cancerian Tiger was born. She was both surprised and happy to see how quickly she was accepted in the community. The decision to become a member was honestly a life-changing decision, for she has since met other LBT fans who are very nice. The Gang of Five is a big family to her, and all of the members are the friends she never had.

Happy belated fifth starday, GOF, and thanks y'all for being such great friends
