"You got it, Fox!" Slippy piped. He promptly snapped his toolbox shut and followed closely behind, eager as ever.
"Let's hope they didn't do too much damage! I'd hate to see Corneria wrecked again... But we'll get 'em! They won't know what hit 'em!"

Bill kept his hands close to the control panel just in case he needed to contact help, or reactivate anything important. He was also keeping track of the automated guns and several of them had already been destroyed by enemy fire. "We're still safe...for now." he muttered to himself.

Fox flew out of the hanger, racing towards Corneria at a rapid pace.. He blastted apart asteriods that came tooo close, and Fox Radioed instrauctions' Bill!" Fox said. "We're a couple hours flight away from Corneria.. Just hang on until we get there.. "

"I'm done with those guys!" Will shouted, jumping into the interior of the building. "What's the strategy anyway?!" He added, putting the Zapper on it's bag.

"Sir! Our radars detected activity in the Meteo asteroid belt!" A unit reported.

"Dang it! We can't let them in! Open full fire!" Albus shouted.

Soon enough, several of the fleet's biggest ships flew up towards space.

As Fox started into the Corneria atmosphere.. he noticed a convoy of ships headed in thier direction. "Open fire and take them out!' Foox said opening fire with his twin lasers and taking the fight to the enemy..

"Full fire! We mustn't let them into Corneria!" The second-in-command ordered.

The units all around it immediately opened fire, the large cannons outside shooting an array of blast towards the invaders.

"They won't get by." The second-in-command snickered, turning away. "This battle is more than won."

Fox had fought in more than his fair share of battles. and Fox started blassing away at turrets and ships that got too close. ROb sent in a few supplies including cluster bombs. FOx hung to the bomb, waiting for the righnt moment to let it fly..

"Prepare the ratio cannon! Load all of the bombs into the hull!" The second-in-command ordered.

Many units started to use the keyboards in front of them, and soon, the screens showed a large part of the ship getting enlightened, which was the same as the cannon outside, which kept shinning in its inside, a large mass of energy accumulating inside it.

"Fire when fully loaded!"

Fox released the bomb and it sailed towards the cannon. the bomb rattled inside the cannon and detonated halfway down the tube. the resulting explosion raced through the ship, slicing it in two, and detonating the stored bombs. the explosion was visible for miles around. debris flew everywhere, and slowly began falling towards the ground. 'thats one ship down" Fox said
_ Krystal , meanwhile was duking it out with a group of ships. she performed a quick barrel roll the then fired into the crowd, knocking two ships out of the sky and damaging a third.

"We have bad news, sir." A unit reported again.

Albus's patience was starting to thaw.

"What is it now?!"

"The space units have been thrown down! The first line has been breached!"

Albus could barely believe what he was hearing.

'First line is breached! Lets keep moving" Fox said, continuinhgg his rapid descent.. he was close enough now to see some of the planet's landforms and features including its cities.. smoke wafted from the capital.. much of the city had been devastated.. 'Yet annother rebuilding after this.." Fox muttered as the second line approached..

Bill looked shocked as he heard the radio transmission. "FOX! Is that you? You guys made it! Good to hear your voice McCloud!"

Jason's head whipped around and he said, "Fox is here? So we can finally fight back? This is great!" He takes out his pistol as if he's ready to rush out of the building.

"Yeesh, not again!" Slippy commented, taking a few shots at some of the nearer ships in the second line. "Seems like this place was just getting back on it's feet, too!" He pulled back and flew at a constant speed on Fox's left.

"That is inconceivable! They must not enter Cornerian airspace! Or else our plan may fail!" Albus shouted back. He then turned to a unit. "Prepare my emergency capsule to one of the nebulaes."

"Yes sir."

Jason in a fit of enthusiasm asked aloud, "Do we have any type of ground vehicles like a Landmaster or anything like it? We need options, we can't just sit here!

Fox broke through the secomnd line, and flew into the coity. more than two-thirds of the city had been damges, smoke and burning ruins were everywhere. "Bill I'm heading in your direction. "Rob will be dropped a couple landmasters nearby. so the boys should run out abnd Climb in.. I'll proviude cover while they head out.." Fox radioed as he neared the Defense CEnter.

Will's eyes opened widely at the answer.

"We're piloting... a Landmaster...?" He stammered, gulping. "Did we even re-receive a-any instruction on it?"

Jason gave an ear to ear grin as he heard both the transmission from Fox, and Will's nervous statement. "You guys may not have received any formal training on the Landmasters...hehe...but that was my best subject during the academy, both in practical uses and out of the box methods as well." He then turned around and asked his father a question.
"Dad drop the shield so we can get outside...and bring the artillery!"

Bill had to laugh as he did indeed drop the shield and stood up pulling his pistol out of his holster and said, "Alright boys...the enemy wants war...we'll give 'em war!"
