"Our captain will be paying for our first night," Eddie said. He found it strange to be using the plural tense to describe more than just him and the symbiote, ever since he had bounded with the alien, it had just been the two of them by themselves until now.

The winds were getting worse, making it hard for Drake to fly and to top it off the rain had started. He really wasn't too fond of water in any form.

Drake spotted a cave mouth through the gale of rain and wind. He swooped towards it and landed. He had to pull his wings in close to fit into the entrance.

Jack picked out a room, 3 doors down from Ediies. Mause chose the room cloest to the stairs as hers. It was sparse, with dirty window, and a lumpy bed. Still it was shelter, and it would have to do..

Terry and Dan chose rooms next to each other. Not liking the way they looked much, but considering the time they were in one could not expect much.

The symbiote changed itself into a pair of black pajamas as Eddie walked over to the bed. He sat down on the edge of it and glanced out the window at the storm outside. He wasn't quite ready to turn in yet, but the rain and the fact that this port wouldn't provide much in the way of wholesome entertainment discouraged him from going out.

A waitress in her late teens to early twenties approached them. She was dressed in the traditional style for this era, save for the sneakers on her feet. She was tall with brunette hair. A frown adjorned her face. "What can I get you?"
