"Uh-huh," she said skeptically. "I'm Evelyn Harper, I'll be there your waitress since this is the slow period and the rest of the staff is off drunk, or elsewhere..."

She grimaced in disgust and turned to head back towards the kitchen.

Thanks Evelyn' Mause said, as Jack joined them. "Rum, and fish for me love" he gave Evelyn a smile.. tossing a couple gold coins on the table..

Evelyn paused long enough to scoop up the coins, counting them as she headed back to the kitchen. A few minutes later she returned, bringing Mause her water and Jack his rum.

"Yeah," An apologetic look appeared on Evelyn's face. "Personally I wouldn't eat here if I had a choice, but most of the other places are rowdier than this one. I think it's the food that keeps most people away from here."

She stalked back towards the kitchen.

Evelyn reappeared, carrying two plates each lain with a moderately blackened fish.

"I was a little too late," Evelyn frowned as she set the plates down. "Anyone need a refill?"

Dan shook his head, "No, I don't mind. Skills with a gun and sword may well come in hand in the future." Dan said.

Terry finished swallowing what he was chewing on as he thought it over. "I agree with Dan. Those skills may be very well needed in the future. I'd be glad to have her along." He said.
