I wanted to reply to your kind wishes and gifts, but as you know... I've been gone.

Thank you very much, everyone!
I had a great day, being waked up 03:00 after midnight and car down to Austria.

I celebrated my 18th Birthday with skiing, drinking beer and in lovely company.

It's a day that I will never forget, and I can't thank Patrick and his family enough for this!

-Money for my coming driving license (imagine the disaster if I fail

-2000 SEK (some in Euro)
-Some deodorant and nice "smell good" products

-From Malte, something for my LBT collection, a short story called "All togehther". Thanks Malte, it's not everyday I get LBT stuff for my birthday!

Thanks a thousand everyone, for the warm congratulations.

It has been a pleasant day but cold day so far (We have snow and -16 Celsius here), and I feel very happy.
I was awakened at 08:30 in the morning by my family, and hear and react: I was able to sleep the night through! I guess birthdays are getting less exiting with every year.

Here's what I got for my special day.

1500 SEK. Which is a crucial healing for my trashed wallet.
500 SEK from my Grandma
A nice sweater from my aunt
From my lil sister, I got a card with the text: "Congratulations! You've just acquired an optional PS3 game!" So earlier today we went down to the city and I laid my hands on Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

Another card, from my folks, saying: "Congratulations! Here's a pair of shoes size 43!" So I'll be getting new shoes once the snow is gone here.
From my mum, I got an unexpected but very nice gift. A book, "The Saint, the surfer and the CEO" by Robin Sharma. I've read his other books, so I was very glad!

So, not a bad haul.

I've just eaten a nice birthday dinner and we still have to finish off the dessert. (Chocolate mousse)
And back around noon, we went out on the lake ice to grill some sausages over the fire. Lovely.

And finally, this was my cake. The character is a postman from a funny cartoon that my sis and I are fond of. It was her idea.

This has been a great day, and I feel very good and relaxed with myself. More than I have done for a long time.

And I don't care if I've turned 19. I'm still a kid!
