The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Now, I'm sore everyone here has been sick before.  Miserable, ain't it.  I have the flu now.  Had it for the past five days.  The fools at that military hospital we go to won't give me medicin for some stupid reason.  Not till Friday anyway.  I've had painful coughing, watery eyes, a fever of 103.3*F, in bed sick, and other things.  Now, I have a canker sore at the back of my throat.  Talk about pain.  It hurts so much that I feel like I'll  cry every time I have to cough now.  Also, it feels like Hell when I try to eat and drink because it hurts to swallow.  It hurts so I haven't had much to drink.  I am so thirsty.  I finally just had to drink and it was hell!  Conclusion:  Damn!  The flu sucks, man!  :x  :(  :bang  :cry2       Well,  I guess there are worse things than this. I hope Ifeel better soon.  Yup, yup, yup! :yes

I've never had canker sores in the back of my thoart, and I would probably hate it as much as you, perhaps more, if I ever got one.  Sorry to hear about that, Ace.

Anyways, the thing I do to get rid of my canker sores is eating one serving of yogurt a day.  It really does the trick for me.  Gone in about 3 days. :)

Another trick I used once was putting baking soda on the sore.  Of course, with it being in the back of your thoart, good luck getting it there.

Seriously now, just let me find a little book, and I'm sure I can help you.

I've got a little (that's actually exagerating on the fact that it's hardback and 500 pages.) book that holds home remedies for all kinds of common health problems.

Many of which, actually hold quite amazing results. :)

Good god!  By the time those doctors give you the meds, you'll be better!   I find it odd that you have a canker sore at the back of your throat.  Could it be some freak phenomenon?

(I tweaked my last role play statement on LBT adventure and created a human of my own.)

Ooh....never had one of those with the flu, F-14.  :o  Get better soon!

I don't know anyone here who appreciates illnesses, so I'm sure we all hate them in some form or another since they disrupt normality and routines.

I found out it is not the flu and the throat thing is not a canker.  It is some illness with a really long name.  I saw the doctor because  just got worse.  They gave me all this medicen.  Two small pills, three large Sutifed (can't spell it) pills, and one antibiotic pill the size of a torpedo. :x  :bang  Just have to let it work its magic now.

Ah, that I've had too...and that's bad since it takes days to go away.  Worst part is until you've been on medication for about 24 hours, you can easily give it to anyone else.  :o
