"Well, we have:
2 belly draggers
4 sharpteeth
1 egg stealer
5 fast runners
4 fast biters
1 flattooth flyer so far."

"Yes...the flyer we know...as we said" Toot said, thinking through the list given to him. "Hmm...well that might be enough to succeed" he turned back to Pternao and the others.

Aqua sighed, "Well I doubt it would ever be easy...since this is Redclaw, but...it sounds do-able" she gave her input. Ridge nodded.

"Hello!" Ruby's mom greeted the small herd cheerfully. "It's good to hear that you're considering this proposal. We seem to be short on options. Well, options that don't include running and hiding, that is."

"Well then we're here to help, like I said" Cree told Dil, "let me just go tell the rest of my herd". As he turned and flapped back to the cave, he noticed that fast runner from before and the sharp beak.

"So...my whole trip was pointless I guess, since the group found you guys anyway?" he threw out looking mock insulted. Twiz rammed into him next, "You almost left me behind Mr. Cree" the kid said smiling.

As Cree sighed and glanced forward again, catching Pterno's gaze, he sighed, "Don't ask".

Pterano was glad to see that everyone seemed to be getting along, and that they were willing to go along with this plan. Although to him it still sounded pretty crazy even to him. But he sighed and almost laughed when Cree and Twiz came bounding into the cave. He then stepped forward and asked Twiz,
"Excuse me little one...but do you happen to remember me?"

Terri not wanting to startle the other leafeaters continued to stand in the front of the cave, close enough to hear what was going on but far enough away to not be a 'threat'

Twiz's face scrunched up in a thoughtful posture at Pterano's words, while Cree's own fell. "You know the kid that's bugging me..." he said flatly, "well that would just be so like you".

Yet as he looked to Twiz again certain things from a once more twice meeting seemed to fall into place. He'd never paid attention to Tylr's life, but...yeah he seemed to recall meeting Tylr's mate's brother.

Twiz pondered on the flattoothed flyer thing as well, "Sorry but no sir" he told Pterano with a head shake, "Do you know my dad or something?" he guessed and asked, almost hopefully that maybe if they did these two would know right where he was at that moment or something!

Ignoring the question thankfully not addressed to him, Cree turned back to Ichy and the others. "So, as best I can see, Redclaw's still gone, do we have a plan for how to make best use of that?" he asked, wondering exactly how this rebellion of there's was going to pull this off.

Pterano smiled nonetheless and patted Twiz on the back. "Don't worry about it. My name is Pterano." And for a moment he sighed as he heard Twiz's question about his father. He gave a wise smile to Twiz as he said, "Yes...I do know your father...although I've only met him once..."

Terri at the sound of a night attack grinned and turned as she said, "That would be a great idea...and I personally love night attacks!"

"So um, does anyone else think that's a good idea?" he asked.

"Why yes, it sounds like a very good idea" Aqua also chimed in on the night attack idea. Toot and Ridge nodded.

"Best time we could find probablly" Toot said.

Oh" Twiz nodded at Pterano's explanation, "So...you wouldn't know where he was now" the young one frowned. "No, 'fraid not, why did you lose him?" Cree joked, not knowing exactly what had happened to Trip.

"No" Twiz shook his head, "my herd of sharptoothed flyers kicked him out for being a flattooth and...mom couldn't even stop it if she wanted to...since I think it would have caused problems for me, and...I haven't seen him since, since it would cause problems for me again if he came back I think...or that's what mom says".

Cree's face fell, especially as Twiz sniffed sadly. "Oh...well uh, sorry to hear that" was all he could say with a grimace after having put his foot smack into it, so to speak.

"No way I'd know that, no" Misty shook her head with a sigh. She got a sudden idea though, "I wonder...do you think maybe one of the flyers..." she indicated to the farther cave that was still visible.

"y-you can still see me if I make my way over there, Miss Dil" Misty told the bellydragger currently guarding them, "I-I'm gonna go ask..." she egg snatcher darted across the distance and made it safe.

She figured the little flyer kid would be the best bet to listen to her. "Hey" she whispered, walking up, "have you or any of the other flyers with you" she indicated Pterano and Cree, "seen where Redclaw sleeps?".

Noticing the kid and hearing the question, Cree frowned, "You act like we would seek that info out willingly, I think dinosaurs give that guy a wide berth!".

Misty frowned and despite this being an adult, answered promptly, "but if we're gonna catch up by surprise!".

Twiz came out of his sad thoughts of before to nod, "Y-yeah, actually one time I remember my herd flying over it, it's off...in some caves beyond there I think" the little flyer pointed out of the cave and beyond the barren Mysterious Beyond landscape a bit.

Misty grinned, "Oh this is just too great!". If it wouldn't have been unwise, she'd have yelled back over to Chomper that yeah, someone did know where Redclaw slept...even as Twiz went on.

"I-I think I remember how to get to it..." he only sounded partly sure.

Rory and Myra continued playing the volley-ball like game with Deon, Blue-Eyes, and Ruby. "Ruby, it's heading towards you!" the girl fast biter called.

Pterano patted Twiz on the back and sighed.
"Don't worry Twiz, I promise if I see your father again one day, I'll make sure to keep him around with me so when I find you again you'll get to see your father." Pterano was sad that Twiz didn't know where his father was, but was also sure that he could help when his father was found.
