Redclaw quickened after the fastbiter. He hadn't really expected either of them to provide any new information, he had just been a bit frustrated. He wasn't very hopeful about the old scent Thud had caught, but it was better than nothing.

Ruby's father was attempting to keep the kids in sight so they did not get into dangerous mischief if he could help it.

Ruby's little brother was seeing if he could keep 2 rocks in the air with a hand.

"Hmm" Cree pondered this, "Well...I'd say we could both keep one of them busy a piece, you know, distracted, while the others deal with Redclaw..but that puts each of us alone against a fast biter and...well I do have other siblings to answer too eventually if I do get you hurt so...I'm a bit uneasy about that one, plus I don't know if we could keep the kid from interfering into danger too" he indicated Twiz, who frowned.

"Hey, I said I wouldn't do stuff like that anymore" he answered, "I'm sticking with the others kids in whatever we get to do to help" he indicated Misty, Ruby, her siblings, Chomper and the others.

Screech and Thud followed along, Thud anxious about whether or not he was onto something or not.

Pterano nodded at Twiz's statement. "That's good to hear Twiz. Now Cree...I don't mind being in a potential dangerous spot, especially when Screech and Thud can't really reach us anyway, so that's good news for us."

Terri stepped forward as the bright circle began to set in the sky.
"It is almost time everyone...we need to be ready."

Twiz smiled and nodded, "You bet!" he said in answer to Terri's statement. Misty laughed at the other kids enthusiasm yet nodded as well.

Pterano smiled at the idea.
"You see Cree, hatchlings can sometimes be far smarter than a grown-up if given the chance, and that is exactly how we will deal with Screech and Thud, we'll tie them up with vines."

Terri nuzzled Chomper once more and thanked her son for being so brave.
"You'll grow up to be a very good sharptooth son." she said with a smile on her face.
