Are the Digimon and monster rancher characters going to have partners or will they be working with the other member of their species of the other gender instead of a human partner? Just curious.

We could have both actually, they could pairwith thier female counterpart AND thier human friend. Agumon 's partner is named Tai. Tiger doesn't have partner per se but Genki is the human he roams around with..

I've looked for attack powers but it seems there are none and you'd likely have to watch entire episodes to see them, though it seems there are Digimon and Monster Rancher episodes on youtube.

Well, I had considered having Mikoto try to corrupt someone's digivolution with his powers. After all he showed a variety of abilities in the show that the other Abarangers didn't possess, such as creating objects with his weapon, hypnotizing Bakuryus and teleportation.

Up to the gm and the person doing the digimon, and maybe the partner, if it's at all possible.

I only know about that since I've been watching some clips and reading some on the digimon wiki page I found to increase my knowledge about digimon stuff. As well as watching some episodes of the series also.

Sounds like the omnipower, like the green lantern ring has, or a limited omni power that some early version of spider-man and the human torch had in the comics, and some other characters too.

It's comparable to the lantern's power, though Mikoto primarly uses it through his weapon iits pen mode. He normally only draws energy arrows, or fires energy blasts from it though.

& I assume doesn't have that silly, "doesn't work on anything yellow". That I read was recently retconned to be, that is cause the yellow fear monster is imprisoned in the main power battery on OA.
