That depends. I'm not sure Mikoto would stick around if he had a way home, so far this world has more, or less bored him. Perhaps it would be okay if the Tourist did come up with some results, but Mikoto would be prevented from going home because the Bakuryus are too big for the tardis? Though from my impressions of the tardis, I donn't think size would be an issue for it.

It could fit them likely. He could change the size of the bioplasmic shell, or have it go 2d for more size. But would he feel comfortable going into the tardis though.

I guess either bulk or skull and blackguilmon (or however you spell his name).

With the evil folks running around, and them all being powerful, maybe instead of Velma I should have done whatshisname from digimon season 5, the human who takes on digimon himself and came out with a draw when fighting Agumon.

Is that Aves who's talking like Mr. T?

Guess I shouldn't post again till all the setting info is posted. Then come up with some new characters from scratch.

Well, lets give him and Sharp some space to catch up. we've been goigng at a rate of 4 pages added a day... You can add a couple posts, but I thiknk in fairness to the others, including Serris, that we should slow down a little, at least until everyone is caught up..

and no, Bulk and Skull and B.g will not be getting them.. Although they may become part of the next team. See I originally had a total of 30 people planned for having rings. each group was divided into teams. the first 10 were given the most powerful of rings, the second, slightly less powerful, and the last 10 were to be given the weakest rings. I had even given names for the groups, the Omniderin, Matahari and Liloonae, with the Omniderin being the first group, Mathari the middle group, and liloonae being the lowest group. Of course trying to fit 30 people into a story at once can be rather difficult, you inevitably give short shift to some characters..

You could have a 2nd and 3rd team could have their own rp threads separate from the rp thread for the first one.

Guess I'd have to redo new characters from scratch and only do 1-2 characters then, one that does fit into the theme and setting.

Though watching the opening to season 5 of digimon gave me an idea for a char, though combining pulp and digimon does not fit, to bad.

well, the setting is a creepy hotel, and many of the characters from "rise of the shurlups" are back and staying in this hotel, which is isolated dusty, and haunted. To top all that, the staff is wacky and there are hit men out to get Nick and aves, as well as the security team(serris's characters) and well anyone who gets in thier way. You could have velma reunite with Shaggy and Scooby, she's never met Dixie, and reitroduce Veemon to Agumon and Tai. There's loads of options you can do..

I don't know of the entire world, the history, what fits, what does not fit, ect.

I also doubt my other char idea would fit in in any of the spin off rp threads, since he may not fit and a pulp/digimon would not fit. It's a pulp char idea i've had before, just with a digimon added in and moved from the 1920/30's era to likely the 2030's or later.

My view of RPing and writing in general is, if you think it will be fun then try it, just remember the other people involved. I almost didn't use Spyro, Cynder, or the Kiva characters in the previous RP because I was afraid they would be too powerful and unbalance the story.

I can post the rough first draft idea I had was. & a pretty stupid one

the pulpish char idea is someone who can have his strength increased by taking a chemical he invented himself then exposing himself to some electricity, a side effect is it temporarily increases his muscle and bone mass, making his muscles swell a bit also. also helps to protect his secret identity, since he looks far to thin to be the muscled costumed figure. Maybe some high grade plastic striking surfaces like the knuckles area. Eventually makes a belt, like a weightlifter's belt with some electrodes in it to increase his strength if he's away from his lab and a need for his costumed identity comes about. to undo the effects he gives himself a surge of positrons to undo the effects and return his looks to normal.

he could be moved to the 2030's maybe. with investigating some robberies & reports of monsters. attacks one, it tries to flee through a digiportal and one of those golden ball things comes out, thinking it's an attack he punches it but since his hand isn't open it can't put a digivice into it but makes it instead into a type of bracelet he can't take off.

Eventually he grabs hold of one and is taken into the digital world, fights it there and encounters some digimon, who wonder what sort of digimon he is. 1 may help him battle the monster. Maybe is a but surprised to see a digimon wearing a digivice (assuming a digmon knows a digivice if they see one) and after the battle and talking to this strange person becomes convinced, at least at first, he's some sort of rare digimon, who's earlier stages are called johnmon, human,and his current stage is called thefistmon, but he prefers to be called fist instead of his whole name.

A stupid idea but that is the first draft idea, and pretty stupid. Maybe using a portal or combining his own devices he winds up outside the digital world and elsewhere. with his new partner.

The trick to playing with powerful creatures is to impose limits on what they can do, and to try to always work with the other characters in the roleplay..

in my experience there is no such thing is a lousy idea. theres ideas that may need to be reworked so they fir in better, but i don't reject characters out of hand. every person brings thier own ideas to the roleplay, thier own characters with strengths and weaknesses, and we make the best of what each person contributes..
