Insane cafe 3 Discussion

I'm adding a character to this RP.

An eccentric sorcerer named Taranis. He will be almost normal... except that he has no sense of proportion, and often uses the wrong spell for a desired effect.

Species: Human

Age: Looks about 50, but is older than time itself, or so he says.

Height: About six feet

Hair: None (lost it all in a bizaare accident)

Clothing: Blue robes, boots, shirt, pants.

Eye color: Blue.

Other distinguishing marks: Glowing magical runes cut into his skin.

Spells: Teleportation, lighting, fireballs, telekinesis, can change creatures form into other creature, but cannot change his own.

tHats fine, but you have to explain, where he's from, what his specis is, stuff like that.. it adds depth to your character..

Have Him WALK to places.. describe what he sees. the cobwebsin the corners.. the stains on the walls.. the mold in the bathrooms. that kind of detail...

Noname, I expect the rpers I roleplay with to have a certain level of skill. that is to be able to post consistently posts of at least a paragraph in length and showing creatibvity to those posts.. Descrobing thier surroundings, conversing with other characters, showing off thier skills, and the limits of thier abilities as well.. yes pretty much everything goes.. but there has to be a point and purpose to what you are posting.. it has to advance the plot somehow..

lol. I guess that is good. So far, he spends a lot of time arguing with the narrator, and ignores the fourth wall. I will make him show up to interact with other characters when there is a good opportunity.

Actually, I've seen the original Insane Cafe and I have to admit Insane Cafe 2,3 and probably 4 are more "mature"/serious and darker as well as more plot driven.

Actually, I'd say 3 is the most "mature",dark and serious of the trilogy (soon to be tetralogy).

One question, is the Insane Cafe 4 going to be "mature" and serious like this one or will be more light hearted?

Certainly, you can bring have it a little later, and honestly as to 4, I'll try and do a combination. plot-0driven, but more light heartened. most of my characters will have established thier relationbships by then, and can afford to relax a little.. I'm not sure whether to have the plot set in Spyro and Cynder's world, the digital world, or somewhere else..anbd I haven't even settled on the name for #4 yet.. I'm open to suggestion on that..

the digital would could be interesting, or spyro and cyder's world. If you can't decide you can try to have 2 spin offs with some chars going to each maybe. They can be set to happen at the same time, or 1 before the other. If they go to Spyro and Cynder's world you may have to run both of their characters. Or do the digital world and come to Spyro and Cynder later, if someone else wants to run one of them or if the original person who ran them or one of them may return by then.

I guess Odysseus's sword doesn't look like it'll fit in the hook place?
