I would imagine that kind of thing would be, usually they have that limited to say, three wishes, no wishing for more wishes sort of thing, makes it more fair I reckon too.

By the way, I am thinking of making Marcel more of a prominent character you know, a chef and all. Also, his ethicity I am actually thinking African-American. If you've seen the movie Deep Blue Sea, then you'll know what I am getting at in a way, but skin tone a bit more darker.

Gives Eevee another friend as well

One problem I ran into with Team Rocket. In the anime, they are almost always ineffective. How would they pose a threat in the 4th RP? The Pelvanida Group, hell Nick and Nani, would rip them to pieces.

I mean, Team Rocket could be "scaled up" like I did for my canceled fic The Mewtwo Project. There, TR poses a serious threat.

They could also be comedic villian types. Not really a threat. There is always that option.

serris has a point..they would have to be scaled up, if we were to use them, because if we go off the anime.. they would pose no threat..

If you want to do them a serious threat and not comedic villains maybe it will take just a tweak here and a tweak there. I remember in an old issue of dragon magazine they talked about (back when tsr had the license to put out an rpg based on marvel comics) how you could take a no threat villain and do some minor tweaks to make them a real threat.

Dr. John MacIntire (This is a hybrid of two characters in the The Mewtwo Project - the "combat scientist" Dr. John MacIntire and the Silph Co. psionics researcher who is Human but has some pretty potent psionic attacks <A deleted scene showed him knocking out a Rocket grunt's Arbok in one blow with a psionic blade then telekineticially taking control of said Rocket grunt's arm and forcing him to shoot himself>)

There is no reason instead of being the big bad, they can't work for a big bad and be what my friend would call named thugs. These are a type of bad guys who are not the main bad guy, they work for the big bad and are not eliminated quickly like unnamed thugs are, at least not till near the end of the rp or story. They can be beaten but escape or send in unnamed thugs and escape when they see their unnamed thugs being easily beaten, often in large numbers in some fiction.

You can also have named thugs be minor and major named thugs with minor named thugs while being dangerous opponents do not last anywhere to near the end of the rp or story, like Boba Fett and his father. Unlike say Darth Maul, Count Dooku and Vader. Though perhaps not good examples.

The Pelvanida Group is has no powers yet they would walk all over Team Rocket.

I guess Jessie, Jamies and Meowth could feature as a "semi-serious" threat. They are still funny and they do manage to do damage but the heroes blast them off.

Though I would imagine the Pelvanida Group would send them blasting off with explosives instead of PokÈmon.
