Insane Cafe 3: The Curse of the Haunted Hotel

Stripetail heard it and quickly dashed from the room " dixie Come with me!' He ordered Dixuie activated her armor and rushed after him " on my way. Keep it as far away as anything that can catch fire.. I'll be there in a few minutes!" He radioed back..
_ what is it" dixie asked as they raced down the stairs, Stripetail was rushing faster that she had ever seen him move ' There is a fire in the magazine below the hotel..' Whats a magazine? "  its a place to store weapons, and apparently theres a small fire burning down there. many of the weapons there are flammable, they'll ignite if they  come in contact with fire..' They'd explode.. and.. " This hotel would be blown into kindling.. and it would kill virtually everyone in this hotel immediately' Stripetail said grimly as they reached the ground floor and hurried out of the front doors. " Where is the magazine?' stripetail radioed.

The three who were out in the town, started to walk, looking up at the night sky "Well, at least we know what time it is....looks to be, roughly midnight, give or take an hour" Zoe spoke up as they walked.

"Yeah, but that still doesn't answer where we are" Zack added on as he looked to Drake.

Drake stopped for a moment "Wait here, I'll head up into the sky and see if I can spot anything that could perhaps, give us a clue on where we are" he extended his wings and flew up into the sky.

"You see anything?" Zoe called out to him.

"Actually, yeah, I do, it looks to be a hotel, vehicles are outside it....military by the looks of it" Drake replied back as he landed back onto the ground moments later.

"Military? Great, just what we need too" Zack spoke rather sarcastically.

"Yeah, I hate it as much as you do, but so far, I don't think we have much of a choice" Drake replied back, his wings retracting in the process as he started to walk towards where the hotel was.

"This is going to suck" Zack added on as he followed suit with Zoe following as well.

[Serris]

"It's in the back of the hotel. There's a sign that will point to it," Deimos said, rushing by. He was carrying two fire extinguishers.

Several other volunteers carrying buckets of sand and fire extinguishers were heading to the magazine as well.

Pandora watched as Demios ran past her, yet, just shrugged it off as she had made her way into the ballroom and sat down at a neaby table.

Meanwhile, outside, Drake, Zack and Zoe were now, not too far from the hotel, seeing it not too far from where they were.

"I still think this is a bad idea" Zack spoke up as he folded his arm as well.

"Look, like I said earlier on, I know that we're on bad terms with the military, them not trusting our kind, but at the moment, it's all we can do, I mean, it's either finding them....or finding Ghost" Drake replied back.

"True, granted that we don't even know if he is here as well and if he is....if he is hunting us down or not" Zoe added in as she looked at the windows of the hotel as well.

got it' Strioipetail said as he noticed the signs and smelled the smoke,,

Meanwhile, Sgt. Devlin was still awake as he patrolled near the entrance to the hotel, noticing three figures in the distance and decided to radio Stripetail about them "Stripetail, this is Sgt. Devlin, I've spotted three figures hanging not too far from the hotel, shall I engage them? As I can't tell who they are..."

no, we no not need any more mistakes like the helicopter. let them get closer.." stripetail replied as he and dixie entered the magazine the fire had sptead slightly thanks to the cocktails.  Dixie moved aroung him and begab]n looking fir something to somether the flames..

"Understood" Sgt. Devlin radioed back as he allowed the three of them get closer.

Once the three of them did get closer, Sgt. Devlin spoke up "That's far enough, what's your business here?"

"Oh great, we meet one of the locals and we're already being interogated" Zack spoke up first.

Drake motioned for Zack to be quiet as he spoke up "Our buisness is trying to find out where we are, it's that simple"

"You're at the Inglorious Hotel" Sgt. Devlin replied back "And might I also ask, what you are"

Drake scoffed slightly when he asked what he was "Fine, if you must know, I'm a human mutant, and let me guess, you're with the military"

Sgt. Devlin nodded back "What are your names?"

"I'm Drake, that there is Zack, and that's Zoe" Drake answered back.

Sgt. Devlin paused for a moment, looking at the three of them before radioing Stripetail "They seem to check out, but I still don't trust them, especially the winged one....shall I let them in?"

[Serris]

Deimos followed Stripetail.

He pulled the pin on the fire extinguisher and started spraying down the fire with foam.

"Dixie! I have a fire extinguisher!" Deimos yelled over the fire. He handed the spare one to her.

Several other volunteers were pouring sand on the flaming turpentine to try and put it out. Still others were spraying foam from the fire extinguishers on flames.

Yet others were trying to keep the munitions cool by moving them away from the spreading fire.

Haresh smelled smoke in the kitchen. "Eevee, could you stay here, I've got to put out a fire," he said.

The tardis detected the fire and stuff in the area below the hotel and alerted Jason.  He had gotten some water and was at the door to his bedroom.  

"Take us there." he said then went into his bedroom.  "Come on Guilmon, we have to put out a fire." he said.

"in tardis?" Guilmon asked rubbing his eyes a bit as he yawned.

"No, outside.  Get the Korodos fire extinguisher." he said and headed to the control room.  By the time the tardis materialized Guilmon had put on the device and Jason had switched to his imperial dragon form.  Jason looked at the viewer of the external sensors, which put a hologram over the ceiling, and walls so they could see everything.  

"We'll focus over there." Jason said pointing in a certain area.  Once the tardis materialized they stepped out.  Jason had chosen his breath weapon to be cold, imperial dragons able to choose their breath weapon and switch it and they had the primal elements such as cold, heat, ect, instead of fire, ice of other sorts of dragons.  

Guilmon had on what looked like a heavy weapons sort of thing with tanks on the back with compressed air which powered the device.  It was an industrial fire extinguisher which had chrome and gears, steampunk looking device.  It cast an extinguish fire spell and was powered by, in this case, compressed air.  The half helm covering the top half of the head and powered by clockwork, which did do the typical clockwork sound did a spell to give the wearer a special vision so they could see hidden fires and fires smoldering ready to ignite.

They both went to areas side by side.  Jason using his cold breath to make certain areas with no one cold, cold enough for frost to form.  

Guilmon pulled the trigger on his device and out came a glittery blue, obviously magical to those who were experienced seeing spells, ray that he adjusted till he got the size of the cone shaped ray to his liking and aimed it at the fire which gradually put it out.  He focused on one of the edges to prevent the fire from spreading and gradually working on putting the fire out.

Jason moved to areas where any explosives were and used his cold breath to make it to cold to burn or get hot, focusing until frost formed and some of the frost became a thin layer of ice with the temperature 50-100 degrees below zero or so.

Dixie took the fire extinguisher and started spraying it on the fire trying to stop it from spreading further
 stripetail focused and gestured at the flames ' frazori ignus dissartomn!' he said and a freezing wing blew over the flames, cooling them down and freezing the liquid in the cocktails and starting to cut them off..

nice work Jason Stripetail nodded as radio buzzed ' he paused sas Devlin repeated his request " Let them in, once we are finished here I will talk with them personally. Have them stay in the lobby for now..."

[Serris]

"Keep the munitions cool!" a refugee wearing a set of goggles shouted over the flames.

Deimos left the scene of the fire to get another fire extinguisher as well as a shovel.

Haresh then entered the magazine. "So this is the problem?" he asked.

"Help put out the fire!" a refugee who was dumping sand on the flames shouted.

Haresh grabbed a bucket of sand and started tossing it over the fire.

Deimos passed by Briggins's desk. "Briggins! There is a fire in the basement magazine," he said.

He then headed down the stairs to the basement magazine.

"Understood" Sgt. Devlin then looked at the thre of them "Follow me" he entered the hotel with Drake, Zack and Zoe following him.

Zack looked at the rundown hotel "Heh, reminds me of the church...."

Sgt. Devlin looked at the three once they were in the lobby "Stay here, Stripetail will be here to talk to you personally, they've just got a fire to contain at the moment"

Eevee wanted to say something yet again, only for Haresh to already take off as she looked around and gave off a shrug, humming some to herself as well.

put it out immediately. if that blows we're all dead! Briggins said angrily "
 Stripetail gestured again and began cooling the flames a gesture from his paws. the fire slowly died down, it belched steam and smoke  as it began to run out of fuel. the ground where it had burned out was blackened. ' we're almost there..

Jason focused on getting the ammo, and explosives cold, going from on to the other areas where the ones not moved well away from the areas that were on fire.  

Guilmon continued to focus on keeping the ray of his device on the edges of one side of the fire to prevent it from spreading as he slowly moved to move the edge of the fire of the area he was so he could try to help it to shrink.

Zack soon folded his arms "How long is this Stripetail person going to be? I mean, we're not here to cause trouble alright?"

"I'm sorry, but it's not up to me, Stripetail has to see you three for himself to then determine that for himself" Sgt. Devlin answered back.

Zoe gave off a small sigh herself as she tapped an earpiece she was still wearing in her ear, but had nothing from it "Come on....work already...." she muttered a little to herself before looking over to Sgt. Devlin "I take it that we can't contact others from another world or dimension or whatever?"

Sgt. Devlin shrugged back "I'm not sure as I haven't tried it myself"

Zoe then gave off a sigh "So, I guess we're stuck here for now" she said looking to Drake and Zack.

"Seems like it" Drake added on.

Once Stripetail was satisfied that the fire was under control he turned to Dixie " stay with the others until the fire is out. I need to go check on three new comers who just entered the hotel.
 Dixie nodded and turned to pour more retardant on the rapidky dying flames Stripetail headed up out of the magazine and contacted Devlin " I will be in the lobby in five minutes.. Stripetail out.

"Understood" Sgt. Devlin replied back as he waited for Stripetail to get to the lobby.

"I take it that he's finally on his way?" Zack decided to ask.

"Yeah, he'll be here shortly as it seems like they've got the fire under control" Sgt. Devlin replied back to Zack.

Stripetail entered the hotel a few minutues later " I am Lord Stripetail.Identify yourselves please " he said upon looking at the new comers.
