Insane Cafe 3: The Curse of the Haunted Hotel

Jason and his group engaged an infantry.  Jason engaged with one while Guilmon shot another with his pyrosphere with Teddy beside him shooting with a blaster rifle.  

Odysseus was fighting beside Jason with the sword Galatine.  

Sara continued flying, assaulting ground forces with spells and dragonfire as well as engaging any flying forces that were close enough.

After subduing all who were in the truck, the four of them met back up again "So....what's the plan now?" Zack decided to ask.

"Unless more these Dragonstorm forces approach, it's best we find their factory, or whatever it is they are using and put an end to this nonsense for good" Ghost replied back as he looked to the three of them then over to the soldiers whom had helped out.

"I don't know, Dragonstorm does seem rather dangerous, I mean, think about it for a moment, just because they look weak, doesn't really mean anything" Drake looked to Ghost "They could very well have an ace or two up their sleeves, and you can't very handle it on your own, I mean, even you would find it rather difficult to put a stop to their 30,000 odd force they have"

The three Pokemon gave a nod back to Haresh and begun to count and sort out what they were each assigned to do.

Dr. Zanasiu turned to Nick as the trucker parked his vehicle and the passengers got off. "Nick, it would be easier if you wore that armored vest that you picked up at Pelvanida. Besides, three layers of heavy clothing won't protect you against gunfire that well," he said.

Ceela decided to lead her group down Southport's residential section.

"So where shall we be going?" Dirk asked.

Deimos looked at one of the sign posts. "It looks like Ceela's heading to the residential section. I'll take the Pelvanida group and head over to the waterfront. Nick, Nani, go with Mr. Bigmouth's group and head to the business district. One of the ring bearers or mage will need to accompany each group to watch for mines and other traps," he said.

The gunship Silver Light joined in the battle with Sara.

The gunner let loose a volley of high explosive rockets at a group of mages. Small arms fire pinged against the armored hull of the gunship.

' i didn't bring that with me unfortunately ' Nick said.. " Forgot I had it, and only remembered now that you'cve told me.. yes, that would be a lot better than what I've got on..
 Gadzuki threw rubble at an approaching convoy knocking a few riders out..
- Sure thing.. We might want to use the Msall as a safe point..' Nani suggested..

Pete shot his gun at them.  It was a type that shot a tightly compacted pellet that on impact exploded, covering the area around the impact spot with an extremely sticky goop.  It came with goggles that put a heads up display so to aid his accuracy.

it was then that Stripetail appeared, stepping out from from where he had teleported in. " Good to see you made it in." he said to the others "We are going after them now.. Spread out throughout the town. some of you will be sent to towns north of here, others south, because thats where I suspect they're heading, faning out to control a bigger area..

Nick followed captain Milos as they headed towards the Surf Point Mall, which was one of the few buildings that were relatively intac
- tarrax, Spyro and Cynder flew around the town, pelting the enemy with bursts of fore, ice and shadow..

Ceela and her group were engaged with some Dragonstorm forces. Bullets flew around them but they launched their deadly metal arrows from ruined buildings with unerring precision.

Haresh had finished up counting his seafood. "Eevee, Vaporeon, Pikachu, status report please," he asked as he wrote down his tallies on a clipboard.

In the Southport Mall, Mr. Goat was talking to Cyrus, the sociopathic leader of Team Galactic, via a hybrid magic/electronic communications console.

"I will trust you on your word, Mr. Goat, I am sending over some of my men," Cyrus said. The video feed then terminated.

Suddenly, several shimmering figures appeared and began to materialize into humanoid shapes. They revealed themselves to be men and women in bowl cuts and dressed in black and white jumpsuits reminscent of spacesuits. They also wore visored helmets. PokÈ balls were visible on their belts along with pistols. Some of the grunts also carried rifles, shotguns and submachine guns.

Tiger And Tigress headed towards the South, followed by Genki. tai Sora biyomon, Agumon and Agumina Headed north towards Southport.. Scooby and Dixie headed towards the Mall, followed by Stitch and Angel
: Cover us" Dixie called out as they duckedd, bullets from a dragonstorm group flying overhead..
- Mr Goat, I want a repiort" Chong radioed from a buuiling near the beach..

Mr. Goat quickly switched frequencies. "Ah, yes, my forces are engaging the attackers and I have recently gained a new ally. His name is Cyrus, commander of Team Galactic. He hails from the region of Sinnoh," he said.

"Sir! Forces are invading the command post!" a Vulpine trooper said.

Mr. Goat swore and pressed some buttons on his console. The defensive turrets that the mages had made, activated with an ominous hum. Some fired conventional explosive autocannon rounds, some fired anti tank rockets, others fired deadly mana blue bolts.

Several of the troops readied their weapons.

One of the groups prepared to set up a mortar.

Team Galactic's grunts deployed their pokÈmon and readied their weapons.

As soon as the mortarman - really an Eagle - could see Dixie's group approaching he ordered his men to start firing.

Mortar shells arced towards Dixie's group.

The Bullets Deflected off of Scooby and Dixues Armor, bt the force was enough to knock them down.
 Bullets ripped though icks shirts as he flung himself on thee ground.

Meanwhile, Ghost's team had made their way into the heart of town, at first, there was nothing there...until Dragonstorm troopes approached, there were many of them to which Zack spoke up straight away "Man, we can never catch a break"

The forces got out of their vehicles and surounded the group, weapons aimed at them, to which Zack started to play upon his guitar, lightly as to not draw much attention to him as he looked at how many there were.

Drake spoke up by that point, but quietly amongst the four of them "There's at least 40 of them....and this is going to suck...." he added on as he gave off a light nod to Zack.

Zack gave off a slightly smirk and strumed on his guitar, sending a rather powerful shockwave in front of him, giving the fopur of them enough time to attack with Zoe firing blast after blast at each of the Dragonstorm opertives while Zack swung his guitar at some nearby agents.

Ghost and Drake on the other hand, were going hand to hand with ever single Dragonstorm agent they were near, slowly starting to get their forces dwindled down from at least 40 to now, 20 odd.

Pikachu, Vaporeon and Eevee each gave Haresh their tally of what they had each counted up.

: Well, well another ally to devy the spoils with well done mr Goat" Chong said, clearly pleased.. " send them   down to Surf Point..

[Serris]

Haresh wrote the notes down. "Hmm. It looks like I will have to get Mr. Bigmouth to distill some liquor and I will have to lead a foraging expedition later tonight," he said. "As for you three, do you want to help me prepare dinner? I've already got the seafood stew ready but there needs to be more than that," he said.

"Commander Chong, they are currently fending off some invaders," Mr. Goat said.

He grabbed his shotgun and sent some shots towards Dixie's group. The turrets also opened up on them, sending mana bolts and autocannon shells towards them.

The Galactic grunts were ordering their pokÈmon to attack as well, in addition to using their firearms.

One of the turrets exploded as Mr. Bigmouth blasted it apart with a charged arrow. He ducked into a building as a hail of return fire headed his way.

A Machamp charged Dr. Zanasiu, intending to pummel him into the ground. Two shots through the head, courtesy of Rime and Deimos, who were hiding in the 5th floor of the mall saved his life.

A mortar shell detonated near Setsuna, the magic shield protected her from the shrapnel but the blast

Paul and Anton were using their rocket launchers to take out the turrets but the hail of gunfire was making it difficult for them to shoot.

Dixie and Scooby got to thier feet, the bullets were deflecting off of their shields, but they both knew the armor would not protect them for long as continious close-range fire.. Scooby ran down a corridor, ducking guinfire and atttacks from enemy Pokemon. He reached an escalator and begun climbing to the second floor. Dixie headed down another corridor, broken glass crunching beneath her armored paws. Dixie was silently grateful, without the armor, her paws would be cut up by the glass and make it harder to move. she decided she would head up to the third floor. She Noticed a flight of stairs and made her way towards it  she raced up the stairs, but footsteps behind her told that she was being followed/. She turned and saw a large arcanine running up after her " You will not escape" he sneered in a cold voice. " Try and catch me" dixie replied, she was smakler than the Arcanine, but quicker, she took off away from the Arcanine and headed to the north, towards what once had been the South Port Food Court..

The four of them continued to take on the Dragonstorm troops as more arrived as backup "Man, when is this going to end?" Zack asked as he swung his guitar around and took out another troop.

"Well, Stripetail did say there was well over 30,000 of them" Zoe replied back, blasting another troop in the face.

Drake and Ghost on the other hand, were still busy taking out troops of their own as Drake spoke up "You got a plan?"

"Keep fighting...." Ghost begun before feeling the ground shake a little bit.  He turned in the direction of it....it was a Spider Tank that aimed and blasted at a nearby building.

"They have....one of those things?" Zack spoke up next as he punched another troop in the face before keeping his eye on the Spider Tank itself.

"Oh....now this is going to be fun...." Drake added in rather sarcastically.

Ghost seemed to think for a second "Get me close to it....I'll deal with it, you lot take care of the ground troops"

Drake shrugged back lightly as he grabbed Ghost and lifted him up off the ground as he flew towards the Spider Tank before tossing Ghost right at it.

Ghost landed on the side of it as he ran across it straight away, not even bothering to slow down at all, pulling out a sword of his own, an energy sword which he activated, stabbing it into the tank whilst running to slice it open some.

As he did that, a bit further up the tank, a hatch swung open and out of it stepped a Dragonstorm troop, a grizzly bear, whom approached Ghost before speaking to him "Cease what you are doing this instant"

Ghost however, just gave off a rather light chuckle back "Sorry, but I do not take orders from Dragonstorm...." and without warning, he swung at the bear, using only his hands for the time being, the two of them locked in hand to hand combat.

Pikachu gave off a shrug back "Sure, I guess we could" she looked at Vaporeon and Eevee as well.

"Yeah, it's not like we have anything better to do...." Vaporeon added in.

The Spider Tank soon had company. Another arrived, even larger than the first. Then a third, and a fourth.  the spider tanks began firing heavily at DRake Zack and Zoe.
_  Spyro and Cynder let forth with a combined fury, while in the northern side Stripetail was throwing back dragonstrom with his magic, the effects of which could be seen from the air..
 _ Nick Ducked the Gunfire and run after Scooby... up the stairs he went. ' Scooby!" He called out.. " I'm going to need help here///"

After a few minutes, Ghost kicked the bear backwards, the bear in turn, stumbling right off the spider tank and falling to his death as Ghost jumped down into the hatch, pulling out his gun and opening fire inside, killing all who were around before taking control of said spider tank.

He turned it to the other spider tanks and opened fire on them, ripping each of them to shreds with the firepower from the spider tank.

Drake, Zack and Zoe had managed to get out of the way of the spider tanks opening fire before watching each of them getting fired upon and destroyed by the one that Ghost had taken over.

Ghost just chuckled to himself as he sat down in the seat of the spider tank still, keeping it active "Such....simple controls for such a....complex machine...."

The Surviving Dragonstorm forces began to fire at the Spider with Rockets and Heat-seeking missiles. the Rockets found their target and sparks began to fly up in Ghost's face.. an explosion from below rocked the machine, as the legs began to buckle..
 0 the Arcanine continued to case Dixie around the Mall, Dixie cutting around corners and doing everything she could to lose him.

(OOC: Did you just read my mind Nick? Cause that's kind of what I was planning to have happen in the end )

Ghost turned the Spider Tank around and started to fire at the attacking Dragonstorm troops, even though the tank was pretty much on fire, another explosion from the console caused the weapons system to become pretty much useless.

He decided to then move it, rushing through the Spider Tank as he came back to the hatch he had used to get in earlier on, climbing out of it as the tank continued to explode some more.  He rushed down the back of it before leaping off towards a nearby building, crashing right through the window of it before standing and watching the Spider Tank collapse onto the ground, but with no explosion, just become inactive now, too damaged to even be used now.
