Insane Cafe 3: The Curse of the Haunted Hotel

[Serris]

Haresh darted into the closet at the stadium and pulled out his communication crystal. "Yes, master?" he asked.

The Dragonstorm MLRS aimed at the Stadium fired its lethal rockets into the air. The rockets would have to traverse several miles before they reached the stadium and rained down its lethal load of high explosive submunitions.

At the stadium, Dr. Zanasiu, Dirk, Al, Jose, Kurt, Strut and some of the Great Valley dinosaurs were sleeping.

Meanwhile, Setsuna and several volunteers were helping build a "command console" that would allow communications between the Sang-Heili base, the stadium and the Inglorious Hotel.

Mr. Bigmouth grabbed the radio that a SPVDF volunteer had procured for him. He was still in a lot of pain and barely able to move but he could still think clearly.

"Briggins," he said into the radio. "I need a status update."

He then sipped some essential water.

we've gotten a lot of rubble and are beginning to fortify the hotel and are waiting for the wizard to create the detention center for our prisoners.." Briggins replied
- the rocket s whistled into the air and were heard by Spyro, who as fate would have it was patroling in the area that was being targeted. " Guyds! we've gottrouble...' he calld out.
_ cynder heard him and flew over to where he was. the rocket were numberous in number. and traveling very fast. " lets knock these down before they reach the stadium' she sais glowing purple and unleashing her fury and the oncoming rockets. the rockets exploded with a trendous boom, that was loud enough to break glass and wake up those in the stadium who were sleeping..
 Still there wre more of them...'Oh geez if these hit the stadium...' Spyro's eyes grew wide.. ' the stadiu m will be flattened and everyone inside will likely die" cynder said gravely " i'm not sure this armor can withstand getting hit by tons of rubble.
_  things are not going well for us Haresh, and you haven't exactly been giving me good information. At the start of the war, you told me they were demoralized and weren't putting up much defense. Well, its nearly two months later, and not only are they fighting, they're stopping our advance! How is that even possible unless you told them about our chats? Now i have no real proof of that, but if I were you Haresh, I'd tred very carefully.. An attack on their positions is underway, in an hour or so, most of the defenders in Neptune City will be ash! Keep this information between us Haresh, your life may depend upon it..' Chong was clearly irritated.

Jason summoned his tardis and set the course for the hotel.  

"I have an interesting idea for a new morpher." Jason said as he sat down next to Guilmon.  "Maybe incorporating the red zeo crystal and maybe other things." He said,

"Like what?" Guilmon asked.  

"Maybe a dragon scale, or a part of one.  The most handy is one from my dragon form, or part of one.  And maybe part of one that godzilla normally shed maybe.  Multiple power sources, and other options I can add in also." Jason said.  

"Want milkshake?" Guilmon said as he got up to head towards the kitchen.  

"Just a small one." Jason said. "Same flavor you are getting." He said.

Sara continued shaping debris and such into detention centers and such as she had before, wondering how many would be needed.

Sara's uncle took out a small faintly glowing ball and had it float next to him and start to play music while he continued working on repairing, stabilizing the hotel and marking unsafe areas.  Still working from the foundation upward.

Mikey, Leonardo and Raph continued to fight using their ninja skills to out opponents  around where they were fighting.  

As were Odysseus & the others in a different area.

Haresh gulped. "I swear they were demoralized at the beginning of the war! They must have gotten some help!" he shouted.

He then quickly used the radio he was given to contact Stripetail. "Stripetail, this is Haresh. I have received news from Chong an attack is imminent on Neptune City and judging from what he said, it could be an incendiary or even a nuclear attack!"

The sound of the exploding missiles outside could be heard.

Mr. Bigmouth nodded. "Good work. By the way, can you get some employees to cordon off the damaged areas? Bigmouth out," he said, placing the radio back into its charger.

He then went back to sleep.

The Sang-Heili flight troopers took the sky and tried shooting down as many of the submunitions as possible but hot shrapnel still rained on the survivors. Not to mention the missiles kept coming.

"There's too many!" a trooper shouted, firing a shockwave at a missile and detonating it just before it released its deadly cargo.

Setsuna used her reflect spell to deflect the falling shrapnel.

Dirk, Al, Kurt, Ms. Swimmer, Ceela were trying to get everyone to safety to avoid the falling submunitions.

One of the missiles got through the released its load of explosive submunitions over one of the goals, killing all thirty Great Valley slingers resting there.

Just keep me informed" chong said cutting off the communication, in doing so he just missed Haresh radioing Stripetail..b which would have revealed haresh's duplicity..
_Most Likely incediary..  using any nuclear weapons would have fallout for his side as well..  if the command center is operational, activate it and get as many to safety as possible Stripetail said his voice showing concern.. there was alsdo a hint od strain there..
the bombing had awoken all of  Scpooby's team, and Scooby starteed the mystery machine, just as shrapnel from the air battle struck the car with a loud thud..
_ Drie Scooby! Drive! Biyomon said from the back seat..

[Serris]

Haresh opened the closet door and saw Setsuna's console completely shattered by a submunition. He radioed Stripetail. "The console was just destroyed. I...I think we may have to evacuate completely," he said with a sigh.

Just mere hours away from Neptune City was the Arkan AFB bombing fleet. The bombers alone carried enough incendiary and explosive material to completely burn down Neptune City.

The fighters and wyvern escorts kept an eye out for threats but there seemed to be none.

Ms. Swimmer took a piece of shrapnel to the eye, causing her to fall down and clutch her eye in agony. The Bull trucker quickly misted the destroyed eye and it started to heal.

In a few minutes, Ms. Swimmer was able to see again and she resumed directing the others to safety.

The trucker then directed as many as he could into his Mako transport truck.

Submunitions continued to rain down and kill despite the Spyro, Cynder and the Sang-Heili flight troopers' best efforts.

"Spyro, Cynder, just hold off the missiles for a few more minutes. We've almost got everyone to safety!" Dr. Zanasiu shouted. A piece of shrapnel struck his helmet, dazing him for a bit.

I'll get on that as soon as possible' Briggins replied..turning off the radio
 Tarrax flew up and let front of large blast of fire, the heat was so intense , it activated the rockets even if it didn't hiit them directly.. the force of the explosions drove tarrax back , fir an explosion to do that to a creature of his size, the power contained with these riockets must be immense..
 Cynder and Spyro continued attacking the rockets as best they could, but there were tioo many for them to take down by themselves..

" Get everyone out of there then" stripetail said "I fear this is only the beginning of their assault, and we are too few in number to survive an all-out blitz.We must do what we can to hold them off, as long as we can..

 Spyro replied as both he and Cynder continued thier assault.. Tarrax joined in to help, bi\uut not even he could destroy all of them.. " incedia! get to safety Cynder called to the young dragon.

[Serris]

Blue shockwaves, lightning bolts and blasts of ice from the flight troopers flashed across the sky as they shot down missile after missile but a few of them got through and rained down their lethal submunitions.

The source of the missiles in question was a fleet of MLRS vehicles that had rolled in from Pelvanida. Luckily, they had expended all their ammunition and were waiting for a convoy to resupply them.

When the last person was loaded onto the Mako transport truck, the Bull peeled out of the ravaged stadium.

He then radioed everyone else. "Head back to the base!" he shouted.

He then noticed that someone had placed a stack of burning tires on the road. "Hold on! I'm going to ram it!" he shouted.

He then drove through the barrier, the multiton truck plowing through the obstacle and sending flaming tires flying.

"I get morpher too?" Guilmon asked, walking in sipping his milk shake and handing Jason his.  

"Hmm, I could." He said.  Then sipped a bit of his milk shake, "I could also add in an external emitter so I could also morph some others as well if they wish to morph also.  With a selective option add in so they won't all have to be the same style type or color." He said, working on his milk shake till they arrived at the hotel.

Scooby drove after the truck, trying to get out of there area as fast as possible
 Spyro and cynder heard the Bull's call and took off towards the base on the other side of the city..
 Nani and Nani climbed into the back of Stoitcxh's vebicle, while the Blue Alein drove
 Sora  Joe Mimi and Tk climbed into Shaggys SUv, once everyone was insidde she pulled out,..
 Tarrax destroyed the last of the missioles as flew towards the base.. Noticing the smoke coming from the MLRS vehicles he let forth a blast of searing hot flame.

Jason and Guilmon finished their milkshakes and cleaned the glasses and dried them.  They then exited the tardis which had arrived at the hotel.  "I wonder how things are going here." Jason said as he walked out of his tardis.

[Nick22]

Hunter drove the Rovermobile past the road block, Coleen was sitting silently in the passengers seat..Everybody ok back there/ Hunter asked breaking the awkard silence..

[Serris]

The MLRS vehicles burst into flame as Tarrax's fire ignited their fuel. Several hundred meters away, two anti-air missiles streaked towards Tarrax.

The Bull trucker pulled into the base and disembarked. The truck was scorched and battered from hitting several small antipersonnel mines and being shot at but everyone else was unhurt.

"Where do we go now?" he asked.

[Nick22]

Tarrax turned and let forth another flurry of flame, exploding the missiles in midair..  He Then turned and flew towards the base, landing in an open area..
 We must make our stand here' Stripetail said coming into view.. If all else fails we head back to the hotel.."

[Kor]

"We are doing ok.  The crazy doggie is taking a nap." the Doberman pincher said.

"Yes, he has done a lot today." The Siberian husky said.  "He just needs a little doggy nap now, then a good hearty meal later."

Walking along Jason saw a bored boy sitting down.  He walked over to him and pulled out a key.  "You'll like this key.  It's magic." Jason said.

"What's it do?" The kid with a cowlick asked.

"it can put out sound illusions of a vehicle.  You just say the vehicle and pretend to turn the key to turn it on and it sounds like you're in the vehicle.  It's a popular toy on a certain world I passed through once.  Let me show you how it works." He said.  He hold the key as if he were about to put the key into a keyslot to turn on a vehicle.  "Corvette Stingray." Jason said then pretended to put the key into the ignition and when he turned the key it sounded like he had turned on a real car of the type he said.  Then he moved a foot as if he were revving the engine by pressing the gas pedal.  Then he turned the key as if he were turning off the car and it stopped producing the sound.  "here, have fun." He said.  

"Gee thanks." The boy said accepting the key.  "I bet Mr. Wilson will enjoy this." He said before running off.  "Hey, Mr. Wilson look what I got!" He called out.  

"A draft card and you have to leave immediately  ." Mr. Wilson muttered very lowly to himself when he heard Dennis in the distance & thought about hiding so he could not find him.

Just keep on eye on things behind us Hunter said..

The sheepdog reached into his fur and took out a pair of binoculars and used them to start to keep watch out the back as he said in his own language that he had that covered.

[Serris]

A small convoy of trucks bearing fuel, food and supplies arrived at the Inglorious Hotel, which was now surrounded by walls. The motor pool and storage areas had been relocated to the front and the detention centers were built in the back.

The guards at the front gate - built by Sara - waved the convoy through.

Several idle trucks were in the motor pool (they had been used only a few hours ago to transfer the supplies to the front.)

Briggin's radio activated as the guards at the front alerted him of some additional supplies.

-----------------------

Sang-Heili rolled out some of its own MLRS vehicles, granted they had only seven compared to the fifteen plus that attacked the stadium.

Several antiaircraft missile aircraft were deployed as well.

The surviving flight troopers, gunships and drones flitted around the base.

Several soldiers - including the Great Valley dinosaurs and Ceela's troops - were out on the tarmac with their weapons ready.

The Pelvanida Group was eating in the mess hall. Setsuna and Haresh were in the garage chatting.

Sara continues as she was doing before till everything is finished and no more buildings & such are needed.

Her uncle continues to repair and strengthen the hotel as best as he can.  Resting when needed.

Jason  and Guilmon walked around to see what sort of shape the hotel lobby area was in.
