Kinda short but i did not want to keep everyone waiting again. Next Chapter will probably be about Ozzy and Pino's little adventure in the cave. After that, hopefully it will be about Chomper's parents.
Chapter 32 Verse 1: Strange Flyers
"Mommy!" Chomper chirped out loudly at the sound of a sharptooth's roar which he knew to be his mother. Ichy imedietely flew over to Chomper and tried to stop him from chirping anymore. "Quite! If she comes here we're going to be dinner!" Ichy said, hearing another roar. Chomper looked down at Ichy, then back at where the sound of his mother were. "Remember, we have to find Pino first!" Ichy said again. Chomper thought for a moment, then nodded in agreement. Ichy flew back onto Dil and asked Strut, who was still shacking, if he was alright. "Yes, but i almost lost my tail!" Said Strut, shivering at the thought of Chomper's mom lunging at him almost biting off his tail. Both Ichy and Strut looked over at Chomper(Dil tried to look but looked at a nearby tree stump.) "Can i tell her i am alright?" Chomper said, looking back at Ichy. Ichy thought for a moment, and nodded. "Just dont lead her to us!" Said Ichy. Chomper chirped loud enough for the sharptooth to hear, then went over to Dil and climbed ontop..
"Ozzy! Help!" Pino yelped, trying to use the Shiney Stone as protection from the strange flyers. She heard Ozzy saying something but could not make out what he was saying thanks to the flyers..
"Go away! Go!" Ozzy growled, trying to whack the flyers away with his claws and tail. He heard Pino yelling out for help and replied "Im a little busy at the moment!" but was not sure if Pino would be able to hear..
Pino held the shiney stone up for protection against the flyers. She waited for one of them to fly down and snatch her up but they did not..
Ozzy tried to see if he could see Pino anywhere, but she was not found. Ozzy then saw a tunnel and ran inside it get as far away from the flyers as possable..
Pino lowered the stone when she could no longer hear the flapping of wings and the screeching cries of the flyers. She looked around and saw Ozzy was gone..
"Ozzy?" Pino said in a squeeky voice. She looked in the direction the flyers went and thought to herself. "Did they take him away?" She shuddered at the thought of what they would do. Even if he tried to kill her, she still did not want anyone to get hurt. She turned around when all of a sudden something flew into her face.
It yelped on impact and flumped to the ground. Pino held the stone up in defence but thought for a moment. Whatever flew into her face, it was small. She lowered the stone again and looked down at the creature that flew into her. It had long clawed fingers with webbings and pointy ears and it did not have the face of a usual flyer. She sat the stone down and picked the flyer up. She gently rubbed her finger on the flyer's belly to make sure it was alright and noticed that the flyer had soft ticklies all over. "These little guys weren't attacking us, they were fleeing from us." Pino thought to herself. The flyer then began to stur and yelped in fear when it saw Pino. Pino jumped when she heard the little flyer yelp and dropped it. "Oops, im sorry!" Pino said. The flyer backed away but flopped down. Pino moved closer and the flyer held it's wings up in defence. "Dont hurt me!!" The flyer squeeked. Pino gently held her hand out and pat it on the head with her finger. "Dont worry, i wont hurt you!" Pino said, smiling. The flyer looked at Pino and gulped at the sight of her smiling. Pino noticed that the flyer was still afraid and that her smile, which showed her teeth, probably scared it even more. "What is your name?" Pino said, now smiling without showing her teeth. "My name Eris." Said the flyer called Eris. "Eris huh? Funny name!" Pino said, patting her finger on Eris' head again. "What's wrong with my name?" Eris said, frowning. "No, i wasn't making fun of your name, it's just.. Well.." Pino began but stopped for a moment. "I've never seen a flyer like yourself before.." Pino said, gently putting Eris down. "Welp, we call ourselves Night Flyers." Eris said, folding his wings. "Night Flyers, huh? but how can you see in the dark?" Pino said, itching her head. "Welp, we.. Can see in the dark! It's not that hard." Eris said, trying to crawl away. Pino looked around but could not see anything. "It's way to dark!" Pino said, frowning. "Welp, guess we're just born with it.." Eris said, crawling up onto a rock and sitting down. "Welp, i guess we dont really see in the dark.." Eris said, itching his ear with his small thumb, which was not long like the other fingers and not webbed either. "Ya see.." Eris began but was interupted by Pino. "No, i dont see." Pino said, sitting down and feeling around for the shiney stone. "Har har, very funny. Ya see, we dont really see in the dark. When we screech, we can hear what is infront of us or.. We can hear what's here and what's there.." Eris said. Pino thought about what Eris had said and was not sure if she understood or not. Then she shrugged and yelped loudly..
Ozzy wandered through the tunnel and was having trouble seeing where he was going. Suddenly the cave shook and he heard a loud yelp coming from behind..
Eris flew over to Pino's mouth and quickly closed her mouth. "What are you trying to do, burry us?" Eris said with a squeeky voice that tried to sound like that of a sharptooth. "Sorry." Pino said with a quite voice. Eris sighed and hopped off of Pino's nose. Pino looked down at the stone in her hands and looked around to see if she could find any light anywhere, but she could not find any. "If your looking for a way out, an Egg stealer just went-" Eris began, but was cut off again by Pino. "Really? You saw him? Where did he go?" Pino said, hopping up and down. "Calm down, he just went over there in that tunnel." Eris said, pointing his wing in the direction of the tunnel Ozzy went through. "Where?" Pino said, looking in the direction Eris is pointing in. Eris sighed again and flew over to the tunnel. "See now?" Eris said in a grumpy tone. Pino walked over to where Eris was and saw the tunnel finally. She went inside and looked back but Eris was gone. "Thanks.." Pino said, then entered the tunnel..

Suddenly the flyers landed around them. They did not look like the normal flyers like Chomper's friend, Petrie. They had strange wings that looked like arms with very long fingers with webbings on them and they had long ears..
Pino saw one of the flyers crawling over to her. She held the Shiney Stone up to protect herself from the 'flyer' but to no avail. She felt it sniffing her and then finally, it spoke..
"What are you and your.. Egg-stealer friend doing here?" Asked the flyer. "Friend?" Ozzy said out loud. He must have overheard what the flyer had said and was suddenly silenced by loud screeching noises. "Speak when you are spoken to!" The Flyer said with a threatening voice. He looked down at Pino again and repeated. "What are you and that Egg-stealer doing here?" The Flyer said with a louder tone to his voice. "We were just trying to hide from Acro!" Pino said with a shakey voice. To her surprise, the Flyers began to chirp and screech silently until the same Flyer said. "You will follow us to the main chamber where Lune will judge you.." The Flyer said, crawling away..
