I’m a relatively picky eater (though I'm usually willing to experiment and try new things), but when I find a food I like, I eat A LOT of it. Especially pizza.

Another food-related tidbit: today I attempted to bake a pie with raspberries I had picked from the bushes around our yard. The pie tasted good, but it was very runny. (I've never been a particularly adept cook.

The longest time I've ever gone without sleep happened last year: four days and five nights. I never felt any sleepiness until I finally slept. To this day, there is still no known explanation for what happened. I don't have any conditions that cause sleep deprivation like that, so it remains a mystery

It would seem that history has an odd way of repeating itself with me.

Several months ago, one of my brothers introduced me to an online version of an arcade game called Tetris, to which I quickly became addicted. Then I joined the GoF, which I subsequently spent so much time on that my Tetris obsession was pushed aside. Then, just the other day, my other brother showed me another online game called Dino Run (in which you race a dinosaur against the oncoming cloud of debris ejected by the meteorite). Having spent virtually the whole afternoon playing this new game, I suspect I am now addicted to it.

(I can promise you, though, that it's not going to keep me from spending time here.

I think I might just die of fright if that happened to me.

I thought I was spooked this morning when I was outside, and was suddenly buzzed by a huge flying bug (a sphinx moth, I think, but one that was big enough to pass for a hummingbird). That was enough to make my heart rate (as well as me physically, almost

) skyrocket; imagine how I'd react to a lightning bolt.

Woah, good thing you're ok.

I remember a while back seeing a video of some car that was struck by lightning and the family inside was ok (though the car was dead after a half mile on the highway). It was on the news. Apparently, you are truly safer in your car in a thunderstorm than anywhere else.
