I had my first taste of an alcoholic beverage (some kind of wine whose name I can neither remember nor spell :p) the other day at dinner. As I predicted over a month back, I hated the taste. :x :P: Waaaaaay too bitter for me.

EDIT: This post itself marks a more significant personal milestone: my 300th GOF post! :DD :p

I had my first sip of beer back in Ireland. It wasn't that great, but I never really liked alcohol anyway. :p

I had my first glass of beer less than a month ago. It was a Budweiser. It wasn't THAT great, but it was a lot easier than drinking red wine.

I have insanely hard bones and my right elbow is seemingly insensitive to pain (I once elbow bashed a steel locker hard enough to leave a small dent but I didn't feel much afterwards.)

My bones must be like bricks.  For somebody who has played in high-contact sports growing up, been in a car wreck, fallen down countless times, knocked a Christmas tree down on herself, and has been in almost any slapstick mishap imaginable, I have never broken a bone .

Depends on what you drink...some are much more bitter than others.  For example, I haven't an acquired taste for Guinness (a dark beer).  Now THAT is bitter. ;)  I prefer the wines and harder liquors over beer.

It probably won't be the last alcoholic drink I try, but I'm kind of hoping that I don't find one that tastes good to me. :p The trouble with me is, when I find something I like, it usually becomes an addiction for me. (Take LBT, for example, :p or dinosaurs, or trilobites, or bats, or kiwi, or other animals, or root beer, or pizza, or certain books, or rocks and fossils, or Ice Age 3...the list goes on.) It'd probably be bad if I found a form of alcohol I enjoyed so much that I wanted to drink it all the time. :p

I won't ever smoke. There's no doubt in that at all.

Neither will I. The prospect of flooding my lungs with the carcinogenic fumes of a burning poisonous plant has somehow never appealed to me :p (no offense to any smokers who might be reading this).

I often can't resist getting spoilers for books and movies.

Not at the moment. I pretty much have a good idea what all the deaths in Final Destination 4 will be.

Awww, I like spoiling things for people sometimes, but only for stories/movies I dislike. But I will now spoil EVERY single plot in existence; SOMETHING HAPPENS!

Same here. I'm trying to break that habit, especially when it comes to books, movies, and TV shows that I know (or strongly suspect :p) I'll like a lot.

I like older Space Opera sci-fi features... but with few exceptions, I dislike the more recent ones... probably because the new ones are so pessimistic and dark, and the older ones are usually optimistic.

I once had to take a dresser apart with my bare hands.
