Trod used the time that Chomper was not facing him to wave on Littlefoot and Ducky.

"I hope he'll be ok." Littlefoot said. "Is it a very bad wound?" Littlefoot asked.

"I do hope he'll be ok, I do, I do." Ducky said, the concern still in her voice. "I hope you are caring for the wound." She said.

Terri laughed at Chompers joke and was indeed surprised when she heard Cyrix laughing as well. Terri then nuzzled her son and commented by saying, "Now Chomper don't tease our neighbor. Although I have to admit it was very funny."

Cyrix continued to laugh and said aloud, "No, I think I'll be alright with this bruise Chomper...but thank you anyway!" As he continued to laugh he turned to Rhamphy and smiled.
"Now that I think about it...yes Rhamphy I could use some help. Would you happen to know where I could get a leaf to cover this wound?" he asked with a warm smile.

"Here's one," Chomper said, ripping one from a tree.

He then gave a little smirk at Cyrix. "Now you won't be able to say a sharptooth never caught you," he laughed.

Littlefoot laughs a bit with the others, "Yea, I guess you can't, not anymore." He said smiling at the joke.

"no, since you have been hunteded or caughted it seems, it does, it does." Ducky said nodding after she finished laughing also.

Cyrix nodded and smiled.
"Thank you very much Chomper." He then laughed as he said, "I suppose you're right...and your parents should be proud, as you were the one to catch me Chomper."

"The rainbow faces I ate were a bit spicy. Their heads especially." Dein said half-seriously "This species is very tasty, but there is one problem with it. Rainbow faces are usually so slim, that they have more bones than meat. No offense, Cyrix. You are still worth to be hunted on though." he added quickly, not wanting to anger him by suggesting he was worse kind of food.

Ducky kept herself from making a face at the idea of eating a herd, even thought they did sound evil.

<How about fish? One of my sisters use to tell a story of how she and her friends got to the herd where their mommies & daddies were and got to the Great Valley before we did & they had the help of a friendly fast biter & his herd who liked to eat fish. Have you tried to eat fish?> Ducky asked remembering Chomper mentioning there was not much food to eat on the island a bit after they had first gotten there.
