The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

A friend of mine is having trouble with her Sandisk, specifically Sansa E260. She was able to put 3 vids on it in the past, but recently, she hasn't been able to put any videos on it, even though there's more than enough space and the files are in the same format that she used for the other 3 videos on the device (wmv). This is the error she's getting whenever she tries to add a new video on it:

Anyone know what may be causing the problem?

That's great, but I need the technical data in order to tell you what's wrong with it not the privacy policy of the company.

From what I know, my suggestions would include:

*Uninstall and reinstall the program

*Check for any program updates

*Download the K-lite Codec Pack or another pack of codecs that the converter may be able to use

Other than that I can't offer any more suggestions unless I have the juicy technical details.

Part of it is the error message (the top part) far as I know, and it was the only picture I had available at the time. Hold on, my friend said she'll try to get the technical information.

Oh yeah.  The program is too old to run under Windows XP effectively.  Perhaps it worked on their other XP computer, or used to work on the one they're using now.....but the release of Service Pack 3 made soooooooooo many programs that used to work with Windows XP not work anymore.  Your Windows XP will automatically upgrade to Service Pack 3 unless you specifically tell it not to.  That's your problem.  Either find a program update or roll back to Service Pack 2.
