The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Coolest Way to learn the Nations

Yep, the talented Rob Paulsen was really at it back then.

I dare anyone to try and keep up.

Little known fact: This video is so well known that some teachers use it to teach their students.

Not quite up to date though. Some of the countries changed names by now and some new ones were created. Still this is really funny ;)

Funny, I watched the president ones.  The thing about it not being up to date is you just need to look when the show was aired and that may make sense why their not up to date.  They didn't have a tardis they could pop into and take a peek at an atlas from 2010 or 2100 then go back and sing those country names.

Greenland has never been independent, although it will become independent in June, which will make it the 13th largest country in the world, behind:
 Russia
 Canada
US
China
 Brazil
 Australia
India
Argentina
Kazakstan
Sudan
algeria
Dem. Republic of Congo
In that order ..

Greenland is 10000 miles larger than Saudi Arabia

Yep, I knew about this video, and had actually planned to use it if I had to do any US history teaching.  Yes, dated, but its fun.  The presidents one as well.

They don't make cartoons like that anymore.

 Greenland is to become a new country???
Holy cow, I really missed some piece of news there! Now that will be peculiar with several countries already rising claims to resources in the arctic sea.

I memorized this song last summer. It's not hard to keep up with Yakko once you have it fully memorized. I personally like this song a lot for the fact that it's educational (especially in geography class), and you can impress some people with it who have never heard of it before :)

Greenland will not be fully independent from Denmark, after further research, but rather will have increased self-rule.
