Gen. Moby shook hands with Alfred and Dr. Landon. "Nice to meet you sirs. Please take a seat."
"Nice to meet you General." Alfred replied. He then took a seat near Aisha.
Gen. Moby then cleared his throat. "Well, Ms. Tennes as you know you are sitting here with the group who thwarted the terrorist assault on Pelvanida. Well, during that assault, they had stumbled upon 'Dragonstorm'. Though details of this project are few and far between, what has been gleaned is exceptionally troubling. In fact most of this information we gathered is thanks to Dr. Zanasiu."
A guard produced an enormous stack of papers from large cardboard box. The papers were then placed on Gen. Moby's desk.
Gen. Moby then picked up a ream of paper labeled "Dragonstorm Guide: K-462 (Instructions for Rapid Abduction)."
"Obviously, Pelvanida has zero tolerance for this kind of behavior." Gen. Moby handed the ream to Aisha. He then opened a small binder to reveal a very recent newspaper clipping. "This newspaper clipping is very recent and covers a rash of kidnappings, all following the same pattern, from around the Las Vegas area. Take a look at both of the articles."
"So what's our mission?" Zachary asked.
"Ah, Mr. Johnson. Your mission is simple but extremely dangerous: stop Dragonstorm at any costs. I don't care what you have to do to stop it; if the easiest way is to blow up the whole complex, do it." Gen. Moby replied.
"Wait, you're the one in command of all the military hardware and Pelvanida is government contracted, so why can't you simply order them to stop or simply destroy it with your troops?" Alfred asked.
Gen. Moby sighed. "The Pelvanida admin either doesn't know or doesn't give two [censored]s about the ethical violations. I can't send my troops to destroy the base either. That's just asking for trouble. The only option is to send the previous group who thwarted the attack at Pelvanida, their combination of facility layout and skills tested in actual combat is unique and vital to this operation."
Gen. Moby then scanned over everyone in the room. "Okay, who wishes to volunteer for this undertaking?"
"I do." Dr. Zanasiu said, standing up.
Alfred trembled but swallowed deeply. "I will offer any assistance needed." he declared, standing as he spoke.
Zachary stood as well. "We will stop this disgrace to scientists everywhere."
