RP idea: Kingdoms

I thought about the idea for this RP for some time. In this RP players would become the leaders of countries in world much similar to our Middle Ages (knights, archers, queens, stone castles, no magic, etc.). It would be rather turn based strategy and by this I mean that players write what they are going to do (rise taxes, muster troops, send an emissary to other country and so on). After that I, as Game Master, will tell them the results of their action.

Would anyone would want to join it or should I give up?

It means that you can do whatever kings could do, including war. Of course there will be other countries (ruled by NPCs) to make the game more balanced. After all we dont want this RP to end too soon, right?

As I said, this world is almost like ours in Middle Ages. Almost, since geography and countries will be different. Now I will talk about it a little...

In the centre of the world (at least from some people's point of view), at land called Patras, lies the Empire, which consists of few countries that formally swore obedience to the Emperor Maximilian IV, while at the same time are very independent. The reason for this is that the Empire golden age is long gone and its ruler can govern those kingdoms only in case of external agression on one or all of them. Besides that kings in Empire have to pay small taxes to common treasure and provide support for the soldiers of the Legion, the only army in times of peace (excluding troops of his realm) that is directly commanded by Emperor. Once Emperor is dead the next is chosen from the rulers of imperial countries in election.

To the south of the Empire, beyond the sea, lie continent of Feoria, where once upon the time imperial colonies were located. Now those lands, are ruled by chiefs of barbaric tribes, which from time to time wage war against (as they call them) "People of North". Feoria is connected with Patras by great land bridge, which often was a route of invasion for the southern hordes.

The lands north and west of the Empire's region are mostly uninhabited, but there are a few small tribes living there, They dont get much interest from more civilized nations though, even as they made many raids on some of them.

To the east of the Empire lie only the Great Sea, but some say that there may be another land beyond it. However nobody has ever tried to travel across it.

Well... This is general description of the world you will rule in. After I get yours profiles I will draw a simple map of it and describe it more.

In your profile I would want you to write:

State name: e. g. Kingdom of the Rose

Population: do you have many people in your kingdom? Do they easily accept severe rules or they are quite rebellious?

Geography: write where (in your kingdom) are located main rivers, mountain chains and so on. Mention your main cities and/or fortresses. Tell if your kingdom lies by the sea.

Size: say how large is your country

Military: describe your army. For example your cavalry migt consist knights with heavy armor or horse archers.

Natural resources: gold, silver, wood, stone (you need some to build your castles after all) etc.

Economy: is there any kind of good you can sell to others?

General description: what else you can say about your kingdom, that we should know?

Leader: in this category write his name, his tittle, feature of character; if he is a good warrior or he likes more to work in his office?

. You can also decribe how he become the leader and so on.

I've got mine ready'
Name: Lord Bartilimus
history: Son of the late King of Pyranna, Bartilimus is a gifted military tactian, despite being only in his mid-20s. He has not been crowned king, and refuses the title of Prince, prefering the title of LOrd.
Country: Pyranna
Size: roughly 500000 sq miles.
Population around 10 million. people are loyal to the late king and to Bartilimus, they are a loyal member of the Empire.
Geography: Pyranna stretches from the Northern Sea, top the Southern bay. It has mountains, 3 large rivers, the Blue Yellow and Pink rivers, the last two named for the sediments which give the rivers thier color.The Pink is the largest and longest stretching almost 2000 miles before empyting into the Southern Sea. The Blue River runs from the central mountains to the western seas., the Yellow river marks pyranna's sothern boundariy.
Military, has a standing army of 500000.pyranna forces were critical to the last defeat of the forces of Feoria.
Resources: Gold, Silver, wood, beaver pelts, copper, corn wheat and barley
Economy , Barley, wheat, corn, wood, stone

Sweet! Here's my forces profile...
Nihon...These mysterious islands rise from the Eastern Sea. The land was, until recently, involved more in a civil war between feudal lords, but even in those troubled times, they were aware of the Empire's plight, and two young lords sent a small contingent of forces to join the Imperial forces in driving off the Feorians, under the guise of mercenaries. These two lords have now united much of the once war-torn land, and now plan to begin diplomatic relations with the Empire...

Country (Province/Region) Name: Owari-Mutsu Allied territory
Size: Around 25000 Square Miles
Population: Approximately 500,500 people. Much of the population is made up of remnants of the defeated clans, and so the entire country shares a strong military tradition.
Geography: The majority of the territory held by the two lords is concentrated on the main island of Nihon, a region with plentiful forests, as well as rich deposits of iron, as well as other metals. The remainder of the territory is on smaller islands, which are mainly used for construction purposes, as well as troop training and barracks.
Military: The alliance maintains a standing defensive army of approximately 50,000 troops, mainly consisting of mounted archers, and well-armored infantry. The troops are all protected by a unique armor of lacquered wood, and armed with curved swords and straight spears (for the infantry), or longbows, held lower than most (for the archers) All the metallic weapons are frighteningly sharp, rumored by those who have seen them in action as being able to cleave through even the most refined of other weapons.

Masamune Date(my main lord): By far the youngest of the lords, he is hot-blooded, but also able to carefully plan strategies for battle. He controls the Northern part of the territories. His left eye is missing, lost to illness as a boy. He conceals the missing eye with an eyepatch of a sword guard. He bears the nickname of the "One-Eyed Dragon". Dreams of seeing beyond the land of his birth.

Nobunaga Oda: The eldest of the lords, he is calm and dispassionate. He controls the Southen and Central parts of the territories. He is known to many as the "Demon King"

Nagamasa Azai: The only of the group who was not directly involved in the unification. Holds fast to his ideal of justice.
