Animal RPGs

I was looking on the web for RPGs where you can be animal characters but I can't seem to find any. Does anyone know where to find some?

Sorry. All they had were animals from movies. I just want one where you creat your own characters or something.

Hmm..no, can't say I do. I've seen role plays similar to ours where animals are used but they're directly related to a film or book or something like that....just no free-for-all animal role play. You can create something like that in the misc rp forum and see what happens.

Let me try to help you here. RPGs are my specialty with gaming, so I should have a few suggestions for animal RPGs. Now I know of some RPGs where you play as real dinosaurs, but there was a topic that specifically asked for Dino RPGs so I wrote them there. If you want to play with dinosaurs in RPGs, check out the topic Dinosaur RPG. Now I know of some that aren't about dinosaurs, and I'll include those ones here. Spyro is a dragon, an mythical animal, and he does star in an RPG based DS game called Spyro: Shadow Legacy. Seventh Cross: Evolution for the DC is an RPG where you create your own animal and play as only him or her the entire game. Spore Creatures for the DS is also an RPG that lets you create your own animals, and it gives a LOT of options with creativity, as does Seventh Cross: Evolution. Also, although not sure about number 3, RPG Maker 1 and 2 lets choose from dozens of charcters, animal and human, to be playable in the game you design. Since you seem to like animal focus, just to let you know, the game allows full freedom- you can make it so that every playable character in the RPG you make are animals. 1 is for the PS, 2 is for the PS2, and 3, which I am unsure about, is also for the PS2. I would list more since I haven't offered much, but animal RPGs seem pretty rare. At least I haven't seen very many here, although there are probably a lot more in Japan. If you are interested in imported games, I could look up some Japanese animal RPGs if you'd like. If not, at least these are something. Hope this helps. Later!

No reason one can't start an rp like that here, either basing it on a movie or series of books, or working with some here to create the world.
