Best TV Show Opening Theme? Hmm. For me, it would have to be the ones of:

Smallville
Early Edition
Mystery Science Theater 3000
Inspector Gadget ("Go, Gadget, go!")
Batman: The Animated Series
Superman: The Animated Series
Justice League
Justice League Unlimited
Remington Steele
and
The Pirates of Dark Water

Okay, maybe not the best, but certainly it's the catchiest of them all. Seriously, those that watched this show, I bet it's the one thing you remember the most about it.

I totally agree with ER; it had an epic opening track!

Let's see, what shows made me wanna just get up and dance or bring tears to my eyes?

This opening theme was just cool.

Exactly what are we grading the intros for? The visual content of the opening and the music featured in it?

Well, my favorites in no particular order are:

Kamen Rider Agito (Second Opening)
Kamen Rider Kabuto
Kamen Rider Kiva
Kamen Rider Decade

(Of course all the Kamen Rider openings are great, but these four stand out to me.)

batman TAS? Gosh that takes me back. still a landmark in the batman mythology..and launched the career of Kevin Comroy as Batman. he's played batman in some form or another for 15 years..
