Good to know that downunder arrived at the GOF at last :yes
It is odd that by now we don't have many more Australians here for they were a very large group on the old N54 land before time forum. The first other LBT fan I ever got to know is from Australia, and with the sheer number of Australian LBT fans put against the comparatively low total population I think Australia may be the country in the world most densely populated by LBT fans. :DD
But for some reason they did not move from N54 to the GOF and those who did never became active posters :(

That is exactly why I asked that, Malte! :)

Metadude, so far you're the only Australian member around here.

I've visited Australia in 2001 and I must admit...it is a beautiful country. the cities, the people, and everything inbetween! The food was extremely high quality, and for the first time I tasted raw sugar cane straight from the stock, and had it turned into juice! It was great! :DD

And another local flavor I got to taste happened to be molasses...and truth be told...it doesn't move nearly as slow as some people make it out to be, but it still tasted wonderful.

Although I have to say as much fun as I had...I have a warning to come with it as well....when a koala hugs you... :DD Don't be surprised if it hurts...their claws are sharp and the dig in to keep a good hold of whatever is carrying them. :lol

And in the near future I plan on moving to live in australia, it is a truly wonderful country and place to live. :yes

That place sure looks interesting despite it being infested with some extremely poisonous creatures

Nope, I don't live in Australia. I'm not too interested in going there, either. It's not that I think Australia is a bad place, but I don't exactly have sea legs (very little experience on the water), so not sure if I can go there by boat and I'm sort of afraid of heights, so not sure if I'd want to fly there either.

I recently was highly interested in australian slang. Mostly due to an old cartoon series, called "Dinky Di's". :)
