"Proving the mages are evil. If they were good they'd send some sort of message somehow explaining why they didn't want folks finding the statue once they knew they knew some were looking for it." Kravik said.

Sivar nodded, "The good dragon gods like Bahamut & Tamara would not things like this and their agents and such would not either. Tiamat's spawn would. Some of the neutral ones may, maybe."

Adykon thought over the oracle's words... go South... and "find the truth." It would be hard to know who to trust... could anyone could be possessed by the mages even if they didn't show signs of it?

Selturma rested on her bed at the inn. She didn't know how this adventure would turn out, nor did she know if she would get any money out of it... and right now, that didn't matter to her. At the very least, she was happy to be with a group who befriended her, and that was enough.

Kravik went over how to enchant and some of what he and Sivar had talked about, trying to figure out how to cast a remove curse spell, since he saw it may be handy in the future. He was resting in his room as he did this. Planning on doing it only for a short while before he went to eat or see what the inn had to offer, figuring it would take him a while to get it down.

Adykon called the party together to discuss their plans.

"Alright people, we need to talk about our next step. The situation has become more complex than I originally thought it would be. We know where to look for the lost city, but we don't know what the capabilities of these mages are, nor do we know what to expect when we reach our destination."

"Though Tiamat prefers the far more subtle & long term to the direct evil." Sivar said.
