You could say the same about Star Wars.. the worst of which was Episode 1.
Some of the Disney Movies like Cinderella, stand as some of the best films ever animated. to make sequels to them, is completely unnecessary, the stories have stood o thier own merits for gebnerations. Bambi is another one that never should have been "sequelized"

almost a little sad, but i seem to be the only one thinking like this:
is the sequel really bad or are the expectations just too high? consider it.
ya see a great movie - probably the best you've ever seen. then you get information about people doing a sequel. wouldn't ya think: that movie was so great, the second just HAS to be better (whatever better may mean). ya think: they could do this an' that an' then they don't do and you say: meh. sucks.
get my point? the expectation makes it good or bad.

example: bambi.
watched it some 10 years ago. i know, why i did.
watched bambi 2 some days ago. planned to do so for 2 years and kind of didn't expect anything. i seriously yelled: cuteness, your name is bambi. i loved every single frame of it.

after all, good an' bad is subjective.
