"Yeah, I guess you are right" Luna replied back to Hunter, giving her a smile as they made their way back to the cave.

Once inside, Luna walked over to her father, whom spoke to her "You left without telling me"

"I'm sorry, it's just, well, like I told Hunter, that I just wanted to help is all" Luna replied back.

Drake looked at her rather sternly still "Yes, I do realize that you wanted to help these leaf eaters, however, doing such a thing was dangerous, you should've at least waited for someone else to help you out as well"

"Yeah, I know, but, I got the flowers anyway, thanks to Hunter anyway" Luna told her father as she handed over the flowers.

Drake nodded to Luna as he walked off to go and prepare something to help out Longtail and his wounds.

Cera saw Littlefoot by the cave entrance, watching Hunter and Luna return. She walked up to the long neck and said, "Hey Littlefoot, you okay?"

Hunter finally stepping into the cave behind Luna sat down next to Longtail and asked Drake, "So, we have the flowers now. What do we do with them?"

Pearl was still cradling Sol, but was now far more relaxed than she had been in quite a long time. She simply sighed with relief and set down behind her mate. She quickly followed his example and drifted off to sleep.

Ruby was watching the sky making sure nothing else fell from the sky.

Cyrix stepped up next to Drake and asked, "May I help in any way?"

Littlefoot looked at Cera. "I don't know. I cant explain it, but I have this strange feeling. It's really weird. I've never felt anything like it before. Maybe I'm being paranoid, i don't know." He then noticed Luna and Hunter enter the cave with the flowers. "When my grandpa was really sick he had to eat the flowers. Maybe Longtail has to eat these as well."

Drake shook his head "No, I'm fine with doing this" he then headed into the back of his caving complex with his flowers as Luna looked to Hunter again, yet, she remained quiet.

Soon, Drake came back with a bowl shapped from a rock, the flowers had been ground up in the bowl and walked over to Longtail with it "Drink this, the flowers have been ground up within the liquid....makes it much better, trust me on this one" he told him, handing him the bowl.

Longtail looked up at Drake with a friendly smile and quickly downed the contents of the stone bowl...but almost immediately he had to struggle...and hard not to let his gag reflex spit out the mixture. His eyes were the most telling feature, as they began to water from the taste. But he nonetheless swallowed the drink and shuddered aloud.

Pearl couldn't help but giggle at Longtail's reaction.
It was rather funny to see her mate acting in such a way although she personally didn't want to even know what it smelled like if the faces Longtail were making was the after effect of the taste.

Cyrix smiled as well as he watched Longtail drink the medicine.
"I'm sure Drake knows what he's doing Longtail, just try to keep relax and keep your strength up for when you're better." He cautioned with a soft tone so as not to wake those sleeping.

Dil stepped over and nuzzled Greg as she looked around the cave and grinned as she asked Luna, "So how was the trip out to the find those flowers? Fun I'd hope."

Both Dein and Terri were lying down, but stayed awake to keep an eye out in case something went wrong.

Littlefoot almost winced a bit. "I don't remember my Grandpa reacting like that. This must be pretty strong if Longtail's practically gagging." He almost smiled a little. "It kind of reminds me of the Big Water we tried drinking. That was probably the most disgusting thing I had ever tasted in my life."

Zaine had woken up when the commotion started. He nudged Sweetie a little to wake her up as he watched Longtail's unusual reaction. "Just think of something else to keep your mind off the taste," Zaine suggested. "Imagine us on an adventure, on far less dangerous and depressing than this one."

"Fun?" Luna asked as she recalled what it was like, giving off a bit of a gulp as well "Um....I guess you could say that....it was uh....interesting at the very least" she added on with a small nervous laugh.

For a meat eater, she wasn't very brave, she seemed to be the opposite of that actually, more of a scaredy cat than anything else, although, she has been brave at times, but not as brave as Littlefoot, or Cera for example.

Drake nodded to Longtail "Good, it should slowly take effect, but you should be feeling much better in the end" he told him as he looked to the others. He didn't really enjoy everyone else in his cave, but for the time being, just ignored it, at least until Longtail would feel better anyway.

Longtail took Zaine's advice and thought about a past adventure they'd all had together. And suddenly he found himself laughing despite the taste in his mouth. "H-hey Zaine...remember the day after we stopped the Stone of Cold fire...I got stuck to a tree for three bright circles?!" He then continued to laugh aloud.

Cyrix turned to Drake and asked, "How long exactly will that drink take before Longtail feels better? I just want to know so we can continue on our way as soon as possible." He then reached out his hand to shake Drakes' "And I again would like to thank you with putting up with our herd for the moment. We really would be in a rather desperate spot if you're daughter hadn't shown up when she did."

Sweetie looked down at Longtail with a confused look as she asked Zaine, "Do you know what he's talking about?"

Zaine laughed as Longtail recalled one of his clumsy moments. "Oh I remember that too well. That was an interesting time trying to get you off of there." He looked over to Sweetie. "When these two egg eaters used the power of the Stone of Cold Fire to enslave the valley, it somehow transferred some of it's power into them. They were using it to pin everybody to trees or rocks, except for me and Longtail. When we were fighting, Longtail got hit into a tree and was pretty much stuck. I luckily managed to beat them and destroy the stone, which then reversed everything back to normal." He looked back at Longtail and smiled. "But for some reason, Longtail was still stuck to the tree and couldn't move, so for three days we were trying to get him off with little success." Zaine laughed again. "But there was also a point in that adventure where he and Littlefoot were tied to a tree, in case he's talking about that."

Littlefoot was happy to see that even though Longtail was not enjoying the taste of the flowers, he was still smiling. It reminded him of how he and his friends were always having fun when they were younger. He just hoped that this happiness could last a little longer. He looked over to Drake. "Drake, I wanted to say thank you from all of us for helping us out on such short notice. I know this is a little much but we really appreciate what you are doing."

Longtail laughed again as he recalled another funny moment.
"Hey Zaine. You remember when I stuck in that tar pit right outside the valley, and then fate thought it'd be funny to set the tar on fire." He laughed again as he replied, "That was a close one."

Pearl was still trying to simle while she slept with Sol in her arms.

Hunter stepped over to Cera and asked, "how are you doing? You seem rather quiet right now."

Ruby was resting near the entrance of the cave, but couldn't take her eyes off the sky...something about it just made her feel....uneasy, almost scared.

Drake shook Cyrix's hand back "It's no problem I suppose, but I would like to remind my daughter that in the future, she should ask me before bringing in leaf eaters" he spoke in to Luna as well.

Luna looked down "Sorry father, I just wanted to help is all...."

Drake just looked at her sternly before looking back to Cyrix again "In regards to the drink in question, it would vary really, depending mainly on the condition, however, on average, I would say, a few hours to a day.....roughly"

Luna let off a sigh as she walked off to the back of the cave and laid down, feeling a bit sad as well, mainly because of what her father had said to her.

Littlefoot overheard Longtail's most recent recollection and laughed. "That one was partially my fault. I told them about how my friends and I were got stuck in the sinking sand trying to reach the Sheltering Grass. Unfortunately, it caused Longtail to try and cross it himself, but somehow he got stuck in it. How exactly did that happen?"

Zaine smiled. "If I remember correctly, Longtail was doing all these tricks in the air and accidentally hit a tree branch or something, and then he fell in. It was pretty funny actually."

Cera turned to Hunter, "Eh, I'm a little sore from getting pelted by those rocks but otherwise I'm fine. Just wondering what we can do next."

Hunter smiled.
"Yeah I know what you mean. Those flying rocks pack quite a punch. But don't worry I'm sure with a day's rest and once Longtail is back on his feet, we can get moving again." She said with an optimistic sounding voice.

Azure hugged Twiz. "Oh I'm so glad Longtail is at least feeling better. We should be able to leave soon." she commented with a warm smile.

Twiz smiled back at his mate and replied, "And I know Littlefoot and Zaine will come up with a plan. They always do."

Cryix sat down next to his nephew and patted his head.
"You're stronger than I always give you credit for Longtail. I'm proud of you." he said with relif based sigh.

Sweetie hugged Zaine's head and giggled.
"Hey Zaine...the next time we find a quiet moment alone, can I talk to you?" she asked staring right into his eyes.

Zaine looked up at Sweetie. "If you want we can go outside for a bit. It doesn't look like anything is going to happen again so we can get a chance to have some alone time."

Littlefoot overheard Zaine's remark and glanced outside. He was indeed right, nothing was going to happen any time soon. "It looks clear out there. If you need to do something Zaine, I suggest you do it now."

Zaine nodded. "It won't take too long I promise." With Sweetie on his head, Zaine stepped out of the cave and walked a little so that they were a good distance but not too far away from the cave. "Ok Sweetie. What's up?"

Drake walked over to Luna "Might I have a word with you?" he asked his daughter as he walked deeper into the cave.

Luna sighed as she got up and followed his father "What did you want to talk to me about father?"

"About you and your attitude, I understand that you wanted to help all these....other ones, however, might I remind you that this is our home and not their's" Drake told her with a look upon his face, one that wasn't quiet a glare, but nor was it a friendly look either.

"So, are you saying that what I did, helping them, was wrong?" Luna asked back, just about actually snapping back at her father.

Drake let off a small snarl "Yes, it was wrong, they are lucky I have no kicked them out of the cave by now"

"What is wrong with you father? Why don't you care for them?" Luna asked Drake back.

"Do not talk to me like that, I am your father and I know what is best for you, for us and our home" Drake replied back stepping towards her.

"I said I was sorry...." Luna spoke rather quietly by that point with a small pout.

"Sorry does not fix things, you keep on saying you're sorry, but do you actually mean it?" Drake asked back with another stern look upon his face.

"You....you don't believe me.....you....you just don't understand" Luna spoke as some tears were forming in her eyes "All I want to do is to help out, but I guess that's just wrong to do" she added on as she turned and walked off out of the cave to find a more quiet spot to herself.

Just then, Ducky yawned deeply.

"I am feeling so sleepy. I am, I am," she yawned.

"I'm feeling sleepy, too," Renn agreed before he lowered himself to the ground and curled up. When Ducky joined him, the two snuggled closely before they fell asleep.

Petrie looked at Ptyra with a consoling face as he spoke up.
"Me no think what you did wrong. Mama always tell me, 'Do what need to be done, and that all'."

Despite being on the ground, Longtail nodded his head in agreement.
"Petrie is right Ptyra, you made a choice, and it kept you alive. I know for a fact that your family would not want you to doubt yourself."

Ruby stepped away from the front of the cave and sat next to Ducky and Renn.
"If you fee sleepy, then sleep is what you should do." she commented as she too yawned sounding exhausted from the days activities. She then looked over at Cera and replied, "Come on Cera, some rest might do you well."

Twiz believing the others had the right idea, nuzzled Azure.
"We should try to sleep too. We may be moving out early tomorrow." he said with a smile.

Azure nodded her head as she laid next to Twiz feeling safer than she had in a long time.

Hunter stepped over to Drake and said, "You know, one of these days you're going to need help too...and when no one is around to aid you, you'll have no one to blame but yourself."

Sweetie sighed as she felt the wind on her face. She then looked down at Zaine and asked, "I know we love each other...and that's fine. But...what do we do....when...we want to start a family?"
