The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

These are some classic songs about famous battles throughout history.  I especially like the Battle of New Orleans.  I know these songs aren't exactly historicly accurate but I still enjoy listening to them anyway.  Feel free to share any others that you like.

Sink the Bismarck by Johnny Horton.

The Battle of New Orleans also by Johnny Horton.

Ballad of the Alamo by Marty Robbins (this version is sung by Brian Burns)

Almost every track by Sabaton (Swedish power metal band) relates to a war or battle of some sort.

Primo Victoria (one of my favorites) is specifically about D-Day.

Hello:
It has been some time since I last heard that song :DD .
Another good one would be Chronologie Part 4, aslo by Jean Michel Jarre.

A good song for a battle would be Tarawa, that one is from a movie that Icannot remember the name, but it became more known as it was played in Matrix: Revolutions

What no soundtrack music? :p :o

"The Battle" from Gladiator (Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerard) puts you in the mood for a fight!  All you Pirates of the Caribbean fans will definitely recognize this track but just remember, Gladiator was made first. ;)
