Matsu sniffed around, but the rain had covered the scent of the killers. There's no way of telling where they came from and how many of them were there...
Soon, the African Wild Dogs that have helped the others the day before arrived. They had found more bodies further south.
"It seems perfect," said Zulu, one of the pack's lead hunters, "for them to strike during the night of the storm."
"And no one saw them strike..." Matsu agreed.
Zande, a young but experienced hunter, spoke up. "The only pattern I see here is that the murders took place in the western part of the kingdom."
"Which I also find strange, since the Elephant Graveyard, where we first fought them, is to the east."
"You think they moved to the other side to attack?" Zulu asked.
"Around the Pride Lands in less than half a day without being seen? Not without black magic..."
