Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

You sure that those are members only? Couple of days ago we had like 15 guests and me... Which I think was some kind of spamming thing but yea.

I've seen that happen once or twice on the GoF before. I have no idea why but we get completely flooded by guests occasionally.  Spamming? Probably.

How much can this place handle at once before having problems? (slowing, crashes, shutting down, etc.) Because if this keeps up, we might have to shift to another place or something.

ivnision's own support board are much larger than this place...they can take a beating. ;)

The numbers you are seeing are likely spambots, spiders or something like that.  It can be reset so we get a more accurate number.

20 was our previous high.. I don't tyhink we can get much higher with spanbots, given the breakdown of our members..
