Thank you all for your kind starday wishes. I’ve been very tired these last few days, so I have quite a few threads to catch up on. Thank you very much for the poem, Jansenov. It was very pleasant to read and appreciated. You’re definitely a skilled writer.
TFS, I'm afraid I didn't have a card made for you, but if you like I could whip up a quick one once I return home. (I feel I owe you as much.)
I am deeply moved by your offer of making me a starday card, truly. Thank you so very much for the thought. Yet, I would rather not add to your large to-do list. You have a lot going on to worry about right now. Far be it from me to contribute to that. You’re always giving to me. I am a member of this forum, and you devote your time and energy to this forum, so in doing so, you are devoting your time and energy to me as well. Treating a stuffy nose allows more oxygen for the whole body to operate with more ease and comfort. Whatever you do here, because we all make up one thing, the forum, you do it to each of us. When you answer another’s question, I appreciate it as well. When you offer your comfort to someone down, I admire it too. When you do research for those yearning for knowledge, I watch happily. A ten page paper could not contain all that goes on here by you that I appreciate. You feel that you owe me? Pangaea, each week that goes by makes me feel more indebted to you, my friend. If you want to do something for me, then all I could ever want is for you to keep on doing what you always have.
Another year has gone my, my friends. How would I describe it? My stay here is that of joy, satisfaction, and- a craving. What is this craving? It is a hunger for more of this wonderful place, a place where one can truly feel at home. This is the place where I have met the most wonderful people ever. You all have made my stayday as pleasant as can be, and I only wish that I could do more in return. At age twenty-four, a whole new year of life, the thought on my mind is, “Hey, now I can describe my age by saying ëtwo dozen.’ SWEET!”
That concludes my starday speech for the year 2011, but my post does not end here. Allow me to share three pictures from the holiday event:
This was my starday dinner. Steak is on the right, chicken on the left, baked potato on top, and onions and yellow, red, and orange peppers on the middle and bottom. There is nothing I enjoy eating more than meat and vegetables:

This was my cake. It was chocolate layered, with chocolate icing between the layers and on top. Those rock-looking things are little chocolate candies, but the dinosaurs are not edible:

Lastly, here is the birthday card my brother drew for me:

That concludes my starday post. May your happiness be just as big, if not greater, than that of which you all gave me on my starday and life here in general.
