The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

How did you enjoy the latest chapter of Far Away Home?  Cera gets almost half the chapter to herself in the events after her kidnapping!

I really felt sorry for her in the chapter.  I thought what those wingtails did was downright dirty.  Certainly, even the strongest swimmer in the world would've drowned in that mess.  They should've chosen a calmer body of water, but oh well.  I really do hope Ruby and Chomper rescue her soon :).

If Universal made movie adaptations of Out of the Shadows, Twilight Valley, Time Gate X, Rise of Storm Tide, Far Away Home and Land Before Time: The Mysterious World, which would you watch (assuming you can choose all of them)?

Poster of the GOF's 200,000th post

Please read and rate: Land Before Time: Twilight Valley - The GOF's original LBT war story.

I'd watch all of 'em, though "Out of the Shadows" might get depressing.  It's an awesome story, and I mean no disrespect to DarkHououmon, and although I know the characters would come back to life in the end, it's still depressing to think about any of the Gang dying.

Hey Anna, how are you feeling? :) Especially right after donating blood.

I'm alright :yes.  I'm still feelin' weak, first from my weeklong battle with flu-like symptoms and then giving blood.  Everything's fine here, thanks :).

They're spoiled as always :p.  If one or both of the dogs sleep on my bed, they actually jump on me and stay put when I try to get up in the mornin' :lol.  Or, sometimes one of the dogs will reach out with a paw and place it on me when I try to get up.  They definitely have human sides :lol.

As for Howard, sometimes when I get him up lately, I find him hanging upside-down like a bat .  He's already awake when he does that, though :p.

They're great company :smile.

Nah, I had to work.  I usually have to work on Halloween, but I don't mind.  I dressed up as a black cat and everyone thought I was cute :smile.

He must know it's Halloween and is trying to act accordingly despite not having a costume. :lol

By the way, that blood donation story was scary. Glad you're okay. :)

So, how's your flu? Have the symptoms subsided any?

Pangaea- I'm feelin' much better, thanks :).  My symptoms have all subsided.

Rat_Lady7- I never heard of furries until I joined the GOF.  I guess I can say I'm a furry 'cuz I like to draw anime humanoid animals (and draw animals in general), but that's about it.  I don't engage in any strange "fetishes".

In the case of Far Away Home, did you find that Sky's drawings helped you to visualize the characters better, or would you have liked it just the same without them?

I had a pretty good idea of what the characters looked like prior to seeing Sky's artwork, but Sky's artwork helped confirm how I imagined the character to look :yes.
