The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you say that you got Howard from someone else who couldn't take care of him? Did he already have a name, and if so, did he have any difficulty adjusting to a new one?

He was my sister's bird originally.  She's completely opposite of me in that she's very NT and likes to go out with her friends all the time, and she found that she was having a hard time keeping up with his maintenance (she lives on her own), so I took him in.  Yes, Howard has been his name since she got him :yes.

Oh, I see. :yes (I must've missed that detail; that he belonged to your sister originally.) How old was he when she first got him?

Also, don't forget to answer Rat_lady7's question: ;)

Have you watched the Three Stooges lately?

Pangaea: She was seventeen when she got him, and she was nineteen when she got her first place.  I helped take care of him until then, so she had no idea how much maintenance a bird can be until she was the only one taking care of him.  It's better for Howard, because parrots like himself need a lot of human interaction in order to remain socialized :yes.

Rat_Lady7: No, I have not watched The Three Stooges lately, but I think I will soon :lol.  BTW, I'm excited for the The Three Stooges movie :yes!

No, I mean, do you know how old HOWARD was when your sister got him? :lol

Oh, sorry :oops  :bang  :p!  Howard was almost two years old when she got him.
I think the question has been correctly answered this time :lol.

^ Yeah, that did it. :lol It’s understandable; just one letter “s” makes all the difference between the two interpretations of that question.

Did you want me to review your artwork? Or would you rather avoid a potential overdose of nitpicking? :p

Go ahead and nitpick it if need be.  I know I still have alot of room for improvement :rolleyes.  I've focused more on writing than drawing over the past two years at least, so I've gotten a little rusty.  I'm open to any constructive criticism but no bashing (you're not a basher, so there's no need to worry here) ;).

2 questions: are you still interested in Darwin's Soldiers?

And how do you like the RP?

Yes, I'm still interested.  Like pretty much everything else, I'm going through something of a writer's block :bang.

As for my thoughts, I find the RP to be fun and interesting, as well as different since I don't normally mess with the science fiction genre.

I mostly like horror films that involve supernatural/paranormal activity, and I am a fan of the slasher "Saw" series ;).

How did you find out about the Three Stooges Movie?

And what are your favorite metal bands besides Disturbed and Godsmack?

I first found out about the The Three Stooges movie on Wikipedia, and as with anything else I see on that site (even articles about medical conditions), I look to other sources to verify the information.  I was told I can trust Wikipedia for research purposes, but I won't ever trust the site as my only source of info, so I also look elsewhere ;).

As for metal bands, I do like other ones including:

*Metallica
*Kittie
*Rammstein
*Static X

Disturbed remains my favorite by far :yes.

If I had to pick one, I would have to say parodies.  I just don't find 'em to be very funny.
