I can't wait to start back up in this RP. Of course, I still have no idea what to do with my character or how I'm going to meet up with anybody else in it.

Jedi472, sometimes real life has a way of timing itself horribly. Your studies are certainly important so I think you are making a wise decision to concern yourself with them. Maybe once they have eased up a little you can continue RPing, but this is just one of many lessons about time management we learn. So do what you need to do and best of luck to you

You could just continue talking with your other character for several posts (that's what I've done a lot of with myself and Guido). If I recall, since Zaine's your own OC, you were thinking of bringing up the existential issues a meeting between the two of you would have for him (assuming he finds out you "created" him). That could make for a lot of very interesting reading.

Your RP persona also still isn't aware that he can switch to a dinosaur form in the LBT world. Discovering that ability and learning how to control it could also take a few posts.

And there's always the option of choosing more LBT characters to play. You can look at the list at the beginning of this thread to check which characters haven't been taken yet. (Admittedly, there aren't very many at this point.)

One more thing; you needn't feel obligated to participate in thwarting the impending sharptooth invasion. After it is over, however, there should be many more opportunities for you to meet up with another character or group of characters. From there on in you can just wing it.

Hmm...once a day sounds a LITTLE on the restrictive side, especially for players who plan on having conversations with other players (I'm envisioning exchanges that go on for weeks on end), but okay.

Are those of us who showed interest in participating in Thud, Screech, and Red Claw's incursion still going for the same plan we had before? Just to refresh everyone's memory, here's a general rundown of what we had in mind last time (It incorporates all the plans individual players previously expressed in such a manner that all can be used without interfering with one another):
ï Amy joins up with Pangaea and Guido. They converse for a while, and then Screech appears, intending to catch Amy. Pangaea manages to provoke Screech into going after him instead.
ï Amy encounters Thud, but is able to outwit him.
ï F-22 fights Thud.
ï Pangaea stumbles onto the scene of Thud and F-22's battle, still being chased by Screech.
ï With Screech and Thud together, Chronicler shows up (or the fast biters are led to him by an unwitting Pangaea), battles both of them, then lures them into the Secret Caverns, where he defeats them.
ï Red Claw roars, signifying the call to retreat. A battered and humbled Screech and Thud leave the valley and reunite with him.

Sound good to everybody? Anyone else want to get involved? Do any of you who are already involved have ideas (new or otherwise) that would conflict with this plan?

I remember from before we had a hard time catching up with other members when posting, so I'm just keeping to that rule. I apologize if it seems too "restrictive", but I'm just trying to let people get a chance, especially since this rp is just starting up again.

about the battle with Screech and Thud, Pangaea ,I would like to get involved, after I get finished with the cave scene,but it will play out kind of like this:

1. I hear someone screaming as I walk out of the cave and go to investigate

2. I end up at the place where you and everyone else are getting attacked by S&T and end up taking part in it as well.

Also, Screech and Thud can't get too badly beaten before Chronicler comes in. They need to be more or less fighting fit if they're going to be a challenge to him.

Something that confused me while I was reading the posts in the RP. Is there another Zaine besides myself? I saw in one of Noname's posts he mentions a character named Zaine and I was confused if he was referring to my character or not. Just wondering.

I'm so excited this rp is starting up again

^What I'm trying to do is let other people catch up, I want people to take their time posting as they need to.

Actually the challenge of doing that is letting other people post MORE material. I don't have anything against one sentence posts here, but it hardly adds any material at all. So if you guys can, post more in one post, just a enough alright? I'm not trying to punish people or anything, I just want people to be creative here.

While not everything has gone quite according to plan (though perhaps that was inevitable,

), the sharptooth battle appears to be almost over at this point. Red Claw has already left, while Screech and Thud are being dealt with by Chronicler, who will ultimately defeat them both.

I suppose that once Chronicler is finished with them, perhaps Screech and Thud could be driven out of the valley by an "army" of residents (similar to the end of LBT XI). Of course, I don't know what Chronicler has in mind for them, so this may or may not work out.

I regret to announce that I must back out of this RP. Please do not be offended because it is a really good RP, but I cannot keep up with this fast pace. Also I'm balancing the other RP I am in, writing my fanfic, and on top of that all of my school work. Anyway, I'm not sure if I will decide to come back to this RP or not, but for now I must cease participation in this particular one. Best of luck to the rest of you guys and I hope things play out well.
